My Dad was assistant director of ORL/ARL. He moved from Harvard with Dr. Walker after the war.
I never heard of this complex so I looked it up.
Garfield Thomas was from Ebensburg, PSU Class of '38. He joined the Navy in 1940 and was KIA aboard USS BOISE in the Battle of Cape Esperance in 1942. He was awarded the Navy Cross for trying to save his men after his gun turret took a hit.
For all the Navy work the ARL has done, an apt memorial to LT (JG) Thomas.

The Skeller's bathrooms were renovated within the past few years. Mens' room is pretty decent now, actually.
Sandy and a bulk of the administration were not here in 2011 when the shit storm happened. They did not feel the pain. It's no different than taking a job at a company that has gone through a tough time with it's customers. The new people coming in are responsible for cleaning up the mess, and moving forward, but they are not responsible or will take responsibility for the mess.
Unless Michigan totally shits the bed against IU, this is virtually a certainty.

I'll preface this by saying I no longer watch Gameday and only watch ESPN/related networks when they carry a PSU game. The coverage and blatant lies spread in 2011/12 were what really opened my eyes to how terrible media coverage in this country can be.
That said, like it or not, Gameday is still a big deal especially for recruiting. Getting the program & campus on-air isn't a bad thing. There aren't many people outside of this message board who legitimately don't want ESPN to come to campus.

anyone under 50 wants gameday here, especially the students, players, and coaching staff. Don't live in the past this team and program deserves gameday.
I graduated PSU in 2010, I am 30 years old, and I want absolutely 0 part of college gameday in State College. F Them. If they must do a PSU game, go to Columbus on the 28th. Seriously, F them.
