At this point, I don't know how 125 and 141 are tossups. Perhaps they end up being tossups but going into the season, some respect should be given to the Lord-slayer and Real Woods. Sasso would also be the favorite going in based off past results. Vito and O'Toole would be heavy favorites. Critiques aside, I also see 5-5 with our favorites winning and Truax beating Keckeison.
That's fair. I'm an Iowa fan and trust me, based on his older brothers actions, it's hard to envision him in an entirely good light. Hopefully, he's the good one of the bunch but who knows.
And yes, Tool is one of my favorite bands ever.
Keuter will play football and only that in my opinion. He might try both at first but it'll be football that wins out in the end. I think he will be very good for us ala another Josey Jewell type.Keuter is playing football as a linebacker, for wrestling going forward, he is a heavy and will likely be adding weight throughout his career at Iowa. There is a real risk he will not be able to manage the demand of dual sports, and the thinking is bar injury, football may win out in the end.
That said I would not be suprised if AJ is now also a heavy, so an overlap may exist there.

Didn’t he come back to help out after an injury? But I agree, football was his focus.
I can see how after beating Spencer, Ramos has moved up a level but he still lost to Anthony Molton, Richie Figs, and 9-1 to DeAugustino last season. If Robbie is healthy and that is the big question, I think he can absolutely beat Ramos. Not predicting it but can see it happening. Woods beat Bartlett soundly last season but I think most of us feel like BB has made a jump through nationals and especially at the U.S. open. Still have Woods favored but can see it going either way. Overall, we both have it 5-5 with the same guys winning but I might just be looking at the upside through my homer glasses.
I'm not rooting for Angelo to fail, but it's hard to see it ending well for him. Who knows. He said his personality is different than his brothers. Hope it's the case.

There was an interview where some got confused between 97 kg and 197 lbs, and to be honest I understood the mistake. I’m not sure I’ve heard anyone say they believe he will wrestle 197.
But Iowa wrestling fans are the most knowledgeable wrestling fans on the planet. How could they make such an obvious mistake? Guess they’re only knowledge is about stalling, pushing out and choking in big matches.
I never understood that most knowledgeable Fanbase in wrestling kind of thing. Is it some kind of participation trophy since they’re not winning like they used to?
Do we need to take some kind of wrestling general knowledge test before we talk about the sport on a Web board? Does the general fan knowledge base thing determine any placing? Do you get any extra points at the NCAA championships due to it?
None of that is applicable, or necessary. "Most knowledgeable fan base" is intended to lend credibility to their plea that despite the Hawk wrestler getting beat 8-1 the loss was only because the guy who scored all of the offensive points was stalling.
Iowa fans have an incredibly difficult quiz they have to take before they can post. Most of the answers are Spencer Lee, Karl, stalling, The Ferrari brothers, tunnels and of course Jerry Sandusky (when they inevitably lose an argument to a PSU fan)
