have discussed at nauseum on previous threads. Mat size is an issue and I do like the continuation of action until both wrestlers are completely ob... this is good especially since folkstyle has more focus on control (vs exposure and no riding)

YES on a battle between AJ and AB!!!! You must remember several thinks with 149 Ferrari. 1) it was his first matches in some time, 2) He has wrestled Triple V3 many times and that was even before they became teammates. Being familiar with your opponent tends to lower the action 3) TripleV is TUFF to score on.

Didn’t Iowa have something like 12 stall calls in the Iowa St match? But please - go on about how aggressively they wrestle as compared to Penn State.
So dumb. You back out you usually get hit for stalling. Do it 3 or 4 times and you will start losing points.
The focus right now is to make wrestling more exciting by incenting takedowns. There is absolutely nothing exciting about a push out.
I will agree IOWA did not wrestle its best by a long shot. There was some very positive take aways such as Kennedy stepping up when not 100% and of certainly Arnold. Glazier wrestled well cementing the victory. Other then that it was ugly and we will need to be much better and i believe we will.
IOWA does wrestle a very aggressive style and it is well know. Coaches including yours game plan for it. I sometimes say adjustments should be made. I do not think it is in their DNA!!!
It would not so much be the point scored. It would be both wrestlers having to fight to stay in and no playing the edge especially in tight matches!
ALL the WRESTLERS are fun to watch. They wrestle hard nosed, and have good tanks!!! Wouldn't bring others into it here!

So, while Spencer Lee is an all-time great, and to you guys he is a once in a lifetime superstar. However, we've seen guys like him multiple times. We are lucky enough to get guys like him all the time.
Commence you telling us how injured he was again. I know you don't like dealing with facts, but, these are the facts. Spencer Lee is the greatest among you Iowa fans. Here, he would just be one of the greats. I will give you that he would have done much better if he went to PSU. There is no doubt about that.

NOT what I said! What I said was PIN/TECH rate. You also want to diminish once again that LEE did it ALL while being injured! You also do not what to take into account the fact that IOWA tends to wrestle a tougher schedule!

I think Albert also got expelled for it, but don't remember 100% if that was true or if the parents pulled him out of protest or to keep them all in the same school.
The Mastro brothers were at Blair, too, when the Ferraris were expelled. I assume the stuff at OK State was just a continuation of that previous dustup, but I wasn't sure if the panty thing was in HS or college.
