Baghdad Bob is taken. Maybe “Bettendorf Bob”I haven't been on the board that long, and have spent even less time snooping around HR/GIA.
Has Bob Nicolls always been this delusional? Or, is this a late-life development?

Your theory would only apply to WWE. Guys in MMA and specifically the UFC don’t just walk off the street and get in the cage with a veteran like Holland because they put a staged altercation out on social media. There are definite steps to that no matter who you are.Hear me out for a second here. AJ has been rumored for a future in WWE even before he was in legal trouble. WWE recently merged with UFC into a combat sport entertainment conglomerate. Could this be staged as part of an elaborate heel turn to introduce AJ into either UFC or WWE? I doubt he has a career there without a resolution to at least the sexual assault case, but he may see the writing on the wall for his college career (or Iowa May have even told him he can’t be admitted there), and/or Endeavor Group may be close to striking a deal on the charges on his behalf.
No punches were thrown, no one was injured, no one was arrested, and no one is in any trouble over this (and conveniently all caught in film…). What there was was yelling, confrontation, flexing, and most importantly, a lot of publicity. If college wrestling is out, he could be immediately injected into a storyline with Masvidal and Holland to launch his combat entertainment career.
I have no inside information. Just thinking out loud.
If he’s like Uncle Carmine he’s only one scalpel swipe awayAJ is a HUGE 197, and Bo is fighting at middleweight. Middleweight tops out at 185.
If Bo and AJ ever fought, AJ would have to shrink his body quite a bit to get there.
It (team championship) is out of the question they just can't process the obvious.Reading GIA this morning, it sounds like the Ferrari family were in Iowa City yesterday being courted by Cassioppi and Morningstar. I do feel bad for some of the Iowa fans that have a moral compass and don't want this to happen to their team. They publicly displayed their displeasure and are subsequently chastised for speaking their opposition. It just goes to show how desperate the Brands (and some fans) are as this makes them appear that they will do anything just try to win. Some fans have even changed their tune and are now welcoming this family to their team. I wonder if they would still welcome them if the possibility of a team championship was totally out of the question.
This shows exactly how out of touch they are -- Spencer himself said Iowa is only recruiting the youngest Ferrari, not the entire family.Reading GIA this morning, it sounds like the Ferrari family were in Iowa City yesterday being courted by Cassioppi and Morningstar. I just don't see any way that AJ is going to be able to wrestle anywhere unless his charges are completely withdrawn and the victim's story recanted. In this day and age, no school is going to look the other way at a felony sexual assault to admit a kid for athletics. I know it happened (frequently) in the past, but it is different now.Reading GIA this morning, it sounds like the Ferrari family were in Iowa City yesterday being courted by Cassioppi and Morningstar. I agree. The AJ story can't be swept back under the rug like it used to be in some cases. And that's a good thing.I just don't see any way that AJ is going to be able to wrestle anywhere unless his charges are completely withdrawn and the victim's story recanted. Anthony's case was far less serious and lent itself to the type of resolution that it got (basically anger management, restitution, and probation), and Angelo doesn't have any legal woes that we know of (only potential genetic deficiency, I guess, LOL). Iowa could get those two kids, and as long as they keep their noses clean, it would be a huge benefit to the program, but I just don't see it for AJ unless something remarkable happens with his criminal case first.
Montel Marion is saying hold my beer!!!

Disagree, if he is found Not Guilty or the Charges are Dismissed, he will be free to join the team bottom line. However, if AJ were to commit the same crime again, the school is opening itself to a very large lawsuit and Brands will be in the hottest of waters.I just don't see any way that AJ is going to be able to wrestle anywhere unless his charges are completely withdrawn and the victim's story recanted. No really. This is the one everyone should really want, and the rest of the circus already relocated to Iowa City.

Perhaps one or more of the Ferrari boys heard about the team's Mike J. McGivern Award and is gunning to dethrone Marion as the wrestler to overcome the most legal troubles to regain a spot in the starting lineup?

From the article above:
"Marion's once-permanent suspension from the Hawkeye wrestling squad was lifted in January 2011. Despite an offered transfer release from the UI, he chose to stay and try to regain his spot on the team. Marion earned his spot back and received the team's Mike J. McGivern Award for the team's most courageous wrestler. In March, Marion made his second NCAA finals appearance and placed second in an overtime battle."

They’ve been stuck with them for many years. How funny would it be if Rutgers got Angelo and Iowa is stuck with dumb and dumber?
Heck they’ve been coaching the Hawks for nearly 2 decades. They’ve been stuck with them for many years.

Is there any way we can bring him in? This kid demolished Sealy without breaking a sweat! Sealy couldn't even defend himself against this baby AJ. This kid will be 4 time NCAA champ and Olympic champ if he keeps his head on straight. He will humiliate Sealy if we don't bring him aboard! He could probably take Carter to the limit now in HS. Gotta get him or we will be sorry!

2. Carter would kick his head in right now
3. We’re fine
I'm pretty sure it's Bergen Catholic.Pretty sure @The Kid Twist's royal 'we' was referring to Rutgers.
