I think the relatively week schedule up to that point may have had a big part as well.
The offense is playing over cautious. Playing scared? How is that possible vs Indiana?
I think it is viable that a qb can be "ruined". Not saying Allar is at all, but not a great start. Running for his life all of the time.
Lol McClain on that deep ball just stumbles while diving. The WRs body control and overall body control with the ball in the air is reprehensible
He was just jogging, not sprinting, in the second half of his route.
That's why there was no separation.
Keep it with the tight ends!!! Been saying that for awhile. At least until they find an explosive receiver.
So far our chunk play offense blows chunks. So i guess we grind it out leather helmet style. Td’s still count for six either way.
Beginning to think MY’s offense needs a running QB to be successful. When Allar takes off running no one is in the middle.
I lean that way myself sometimes. It's almost like a pocket passer in this offense is like trying to fit a square peg into a round hole...
Franklin has said many times that he values a running QB so idk...
If Yurich can't adapt to a pure drop back passer then he needs to go or we shouldn't be recruiting QBs like Allar.
In limited time we've seen nothing to indicate he can pass the ball enough to play at this level

I wasn't super impressed with the OSU offense at all. They just had 1 major player that can win games. Harrison Jr is unreal.
MYs offense probably does. Unfortunately he should be fired if this is the case.
