Ironman - Dec 6 & 7

I really hope the Raneys don’t go to Iowa. Those 2 kids are tough

Blaze is almost impossible to score on. No one even came close this tournament. His td was so smooth as well. I wish he kept pushing for more scores but when no one can can come close to scoring on you I can’t blame him shutting it down a bit once he gets a lead

144 pound Final - #1 Bo Bassett (BIMC) VS #2 Carlos Stanton (SUNN)

Period 1:
Straight to the tie-up. Stanton looking double, but Bo evades him. They're scrambling on the edge, Bo shoots, nothing. Stanton re-attack, but they go out of bounds, restart. Stanton shoots off the whistle, but Bo blocks him off. Bo with a quick drag to TD, 3-0, then immediately cuts Stanton, 3-1. Circling, Bo coming forward, gets to a leg & finishes the TD, 6-1. Bo looking turn, but only gets a 1-count. Bo locks up a cradle, but can't finish & cuts Stanton, 6-2. Bo with a quick TD & it's 9-2. Bo immediately cuts Stanton, 9-3. Bo with another quick TD, 12-3. Bo cuts again, 12-4 & Bo immediately hits another TD, 15-4, then rides out the period. Wow! That was a brutal attack by Bo. I could barely keep up with all the scoring.

Period 2:
Someone takes neutral. Bo shoots off the whistle & gets another TD, 18-4. Bo looking for the pin, but only gets back points for the 22-4 TECH. That was just a brutal beating. Ouch.

#1 Bo Bassett TECH #2 Carlos Stanton 22-4 (2:23)

Bo Bassett takes 1st Place!

Bo cuts again, 12-4 & Bo hits another TD, 15-4, then rides out the period. Wow! That was a brutal attack by Bo. I could barely keep up with all the scoring.

Period 2:
Someone takes neutral. Bo shoots off the whistle & gets another TD, 18-4. Bo looking for the pin, but gets the TECH instead, 22-4

Bassett is incredible but that weight was maybe the weakest in the tournament. Not sure if kids are going up or down to avoid him or if this just ended up a down year at this weight

175 pound Final - #1 William Henckel (BLAC) VS #3 Asher Cunningham (STCO)

Period 1:
Here's the match I missed. Future recruit vs. future recruit, unless one of them winds up at Rutgers. Henckel looks like he has a bigger frame than Cunningham. Circling & tying up. Henckel shoots, Cunningham sprawls, nothing & they go out of bounds, restart. Circling & tying up. Cunningham reaches for an ankle, no luck. More circling, then tying up. Both looking for their opening, tying up & then they break. Henckel holding center a little better, but Cunningham coming forward a little now. Cunningham snaps, but Henckel fights through it & gets a body lock. Cunningham has his leg wrapped around Henckel's, then Cunningham reaches down for Henckel's other leg & they fall to the mat with Cunningham landing on top for the TD, 3-0. Cunningham has Henckel on his back too & adds 4 NF, 7-0. Wow! What a move! Henckel gets back to his base, but Cunningham rides out the final few seconds of the period. 7-0 Cunningham.

Period 2:
Cunningham takes down. Cunningham gets to his feet, but Henckel is wrapped around him tightly & brings him back down. Cunningham gets back to his base & Henckel doesn't really resist the escape, 8-0 Cunningham. Henckel immediately coming forward off the whistle, shoots a double, Cunningham sprawls on the edge & they slide out of bounds, restart, 1:26 left. Circling, Henckel getting more active now. Henckel snapping & looking for an opening, he drops in on a leg, then switches to a double. Cunningham counters with a crotch lock & rolls through & now they're head to feet & the stalemate is inevitable. There it is, restart, 55-sec left. Circling, Henckel coming forward. Henckle with an outside single to a double for the TD, 8-3. That was slick! Henckel goes straight to a turk, looking for back points, but Cunningham rolls through & gets the reversal, 10-3. Cunningham is looking for back points now, but only gets a 1-count. Cunningham rides out the final 15-sec of the period. 10-3 Cunningham.

Period 3:
Henckel takes neutral. He doesn't want any part of Asher's top game. Circling, Henckel coming forward, drops in on a single to double for a TD, 10-6. Henckel looking for back points again, but Cunningham rolls to his belly. Henckel looking to cut Cunningham, but then drops back in on a shot before the escape was awarded & they go out of bounds. Cunningham still down, breathing hard. Henckel looking a little confused. I think he just realized an escape wasn't awarded & he didn't get points for that last TD. Henckel decides to give up the escape & start neutral, 11-6. Henckel in on a high crotch, Cunningham sitting the corner, they're scrambling & then wind up back on their feet. Wow, can't believe someone didn't score there. This is a fantastic match! Cunningham is just kind of standing there as Henckel takes a couple steps, drives in & gets Cunningham's leg. Cunningham is trying to reach through the crotch & gets his hands locked, but Henckel keeps working. They roll through & wind up head to feet, then it's stopped for potentially dangerous, restart, 42-sec left. Cunningham slow back to center again. He's running on empty. Henckel with a blast double off the whistle & drives Cunningham hard to the mat for a TD, 11-9. Henckel looking for nearfall on the edge, but Cunningham posts up on his hands & they go out of bounds, restart, 33-sec left. Cunningham is running on fumes now & is very slow getting back to center. Henckel gives up the escape, 12-9 Cunningham, & they start neutral. Henckel coming forward off the whistle, shoots, gets a low single & is driving forward. Cunningham has a chest lock & tries to roll Henckel over, but Henckel holds on to the leg & pulls it up to finish off the TD, 12-12. Wow! 18-sec left. Cunningham gets to his feet, is looking for a switch, but Henckel maintains top control & rides out the period, 12-12.

SV:
Cunningham down on a knee & the ref is telling him to get moving. Cunningham very slow getting back to the line. The Flo announcer says, "The Blair crowd wants a stall call." They're getting after Cunningham, like the PSU crowd got after Keck at the All-Star match. Tying up, Henckel shoots a head outside double, Cunningham is locked through the crotch. Henckel keeps driving forward, but then Cunningham tries to roll him through. They're scrambling & are head to feet & it's looking like another stalemate, but then Henckel elevates his position & gets to a knee, then comes around for the TD, 15-12. Wow, what a match! That was a great battle by both wrestlers! If Cunningham had a little biggger gas tank, that could have ended differently.

#1 William Henckel DEC #3 Asher Cunningham 15-12

William Henckel takes 1st Place!
Asher Cunningham takes 2nd Place!

Slow month for me on Onlyfans..

@smalls103 - any idea why this dude below (Adam Columbo), Nazareth Asst, hates Penn State so much? Did Cael ask him if he had a plan?

For the uninitiated, I ask this because if you are at all active on other wrestling social media, this dude pops up like a wart from time to time to give Iowa pudwhackers like Weh8state and Burd a run for the money in attacking Penn State

I got some ties to his area. He is a drunk and ironically owns a donut shop. Has all daughters and got fired as a volunteer coach at Nazareth.
Not sure why he talks trash on Penn State and random hs wrestlers. I am sure it’s after a few Bud Pounders and glazed donut holes.

That is about as blunt an assessment as I think I have read on here.

Holy heck, Blaze ran through Ironman. That’s his second title in the toughest Folkstyle event in the country. Then he beat future teammate 5-1. Impressive weekend for him
