Football James Franklin's gusty decisions help seal 26-25 victory for Penn State

"Want to thank everyone for coming out and covering Penn State football. Those were two of the better teams in the league today."

And, after he says that usual stuff, the fan boys melt over this grifter.

The offense is all of of sorts because AK refuses to line up and actually play football
Because JF wants showy and looking fun rather than being a hard nosed coach. He doesn't realize or isn't capable of understanding how to build a championship style offense. We don't have an identity.

I hate Franklin so much. I know. We are lucky to have him. Who are we going to get who is better? He recruits… Take the money he is making, hire a younger coach, and hammer NIL. It’s the only way we are ever going to get to a place where we can compete for the playoffs consistently.

That Minnesota TD is exactly the reason I keep harping about discipline and preparation. Back in the day Penn State teams were always highly regarded for their discipline. We often did not have the athletes, especially in the defensive secondary, but they knew where they were supposed to be. Now we have the opposite problem. Just can't put it together.

The punter couldn't have made a worse play possible. Only way guy blocks punt is to take 10 mins and punt it right at him.
But that's also on the special team's coach. He has to tell the punter that in his own end he HAS to get the punt off as fast as possible and let the coverage guys do their job.

Notice how much better the offense is when we don't sub in Beau and we let Drew read the field?
He even ran it well
