True, but I kinda like it. As long as it’s done evenly for both sides. Didn’t love the call against Nick while on top. This ref is quick with the whistle

I thought he was going to get it but then he allowed Robb to tie him up again. He was close to getting danger swipes also. He might have been better off getting tied up but forcing Robb towards his back.Should have kept clearing the hand so he could turn in. Started to then went to the leg and then back to the hand at the end.
And yet he was VERY close on that last attempt. Extremely close to pulling off a monster upset. Extremely.This^^. Bearclaw kept in close, but didn't come remotely close to a TD until the last 15 seconds. And then it was too little, too late.
I agree to some extent. It could be he knows he doesn't have the strength to power through at 149 so he limits his shots. I'm holding out hope he regains his confidence and aggressiveness against 141s.
PSU 11 and Nebraska 6Man, I used to be able to able to log in here and see the score, not any more.
Okay. I like the very late stall call. Don’t see that usually when they go full defensive in final seconds and should see it more often.
I don’t disagree that getting PBP is great, but we’re talking about a dual on TV, on radio and for which PennStateWrestling sends a tweet after every bout with its score and highlights.Man, I used to be able to able to log in here and see the score, not any more.
Then we are screwed. Let’s go Creighton!!!Unless Edsel pulls the upset, Mason will need to keep it to a decision.
Wilson not wrestling, Edsell's opponent is Jenkins-HarrisUnless Edsel pulls the upset, Mason will need to keep it to a decision.
You mean IF Edsell pulls the upset (by allowing this guy to beat him)?Unless Edsel pulls the upset, Mason will need to keep it to a decision.
I deleted my post when I realized he did get called. How hasn't this guy been called for stalling yet
Oh. I didn't catch it. My bad. He could have gotten called more.I deleted my post when I realized he did get called.
Inconsistent callsThat's some incredible uncalled stalling right there. Could not have been more blatant.

I hate to defend Manning but he had to have done some development given the success of Burroughs, Green , Lovett among othersNick Lee vs Chad Red is the classic example of Cael developing a guy better than Manning. 4-0 in college.
It seemed to me like he heard Manning yelling for the danger call and thought the ref was countingManville shouldn’t have let go of the leg.
Think he was thinking there was danger as Nebraska was lobbying for it.Manville shouldn’t have let go of the leg.

He wrestled several good, close matches up 1-2 weight classes a few years ago.Didn't manville give cam caffee a close match a few years ago?
If I see BB attempt a cradle ever again, it will be too soon.
I think they’ll reward Marinelli in the seeding for ducking him by Iowa scheduling Iowa-PSU match while Berge was still at 165.The Edsell is quietly rumbling and humming along down the BIG Ten Highway. He is 4-0 in Big Ten competition. Top seed?

Especially given his quick stalling calls earlier. Extremely inconsistent, which is the exact thing you don’t want in a ref. That's some incredible uncalled stalling right there. Could not have been more blatant.
You jinxed yourselfStill early, but Manville looks a little better tonight, IMO. 2-1; 1:35 to go in 2nd when I type this.
He seems mentally checked out in these last 2 matches... Yes I know they are tough kids but so we're the kids back then.He wrestled several good, close matches up 1-2 weight classes a few years ago.
