Well that was a mental lapse on Beard, I have no problem with the stall calls they were warranted based on the rules

That's kind of a joke. If he gives him a count he'd obviously cut him and not be losing. Also, Schultz was allowed to stall for 30 seconds at the end before getting a warning as time expired? I'm literally missing Angel Rivera at this point.
You can debate the stall calls against Beard, but the real killers were giving up the late escape in the first period, and getting ridden the entire second period.
Still, overall a very decent performance by Beard against a top five guy in the weight class.

How do you hit a wrestler, with the only two take downs in the match, with 4 stall calls, two within seconds of each other to give the match to Nebraska? Ridiculous!
ref is worse than Rivera. That has to be the worst reffed match I've ever seen.
Yea, those matches are not nearly as close as the score - Hildie has dominated many of them. However, the flipside of that is that he's struggled to bonus guys he's thoroughly dominated because he has very little Neutral Offense - this lack of Neutral Offense also makes it very difficult to control matches against top 125 lbers.

Think he was actually hit twice for stalling in that exchange, once before they went off and once for "pushing him off." Ended 6-4. Just horrendous.

His head was in the mat the entire second period. Hard to argue with the two stall calls in second. On the third stall call, he did just walk him out. I know he had two TDs, but when I think about three stall calls against him, it’s hard to say not warranted.

Easy you can be scoring points but still be called for stalling in certain situations, yesterday my son won 11-4 in a match with the only takedowns but when he ran the kid out he got called which was correct
No, 4, two earlier and two in third, unless i am wrong, someone above did play by play with same count.
I understand you can score and stall, Beard did not stall that many times. You will never convince me he did.
Shultz had a escape in 1st and two escapes in 3rd. If there were four stalls, he’d have 6 points instead of five.
