i tried to explain this when the rumors of his transfer first started haha. it was funny seeing some on here thinking he was going to come in and get some psu magic dust sprinkled on him and light up the scoreboard. he’s always been a win ugly guy and he does a lot of it.

This ref is terribly inconsistent with these stall calls.
Man, you would think with Gabe riding him like a rented mule in practice all the time he would’ve figured out how to get out from the bottom.
He’s gone for cradles multiple times without the takedown secured multiple times in close matches this season.
He keeps going for the big move without the basics locked down.

Just when I thought big ten officiating couldn't get any worse, this clown says "hold my beer". Embarrassing. Beard is better than the #3 guy in the nation.
That's pretty terrible. No way Beard earned 3 stall calls in that match the ways it's been called all day.
I like Michael and think he’s very talented. Unfortunately he deserved to lose that one. Gave up that escape with a little time left in the first period, and then got ridden the whole second period. He needs to clean those things up if he’s going to ever be an All American.
