NCAA Session 6 Thread

Some trivia about Ringer. The only two wrestlers to beat Ringer in his career were Derek St. John and James Vollrath.

I agree. But when he doesn't dominate the opponent he needs to adjust. He plays catch and release with lesser opponents and gets major decisions because of it but you need to be able to do both. It is just stupid to play that game with a guy like IMar.
Cutting Martinez at the start of the 2nd did not cost Nolf at all. Not holding him for 2 more seconds at the end of the first ...

If Gwiz beats Snyder he deserves OW. If Gwiz loses Zain will get OW, but Ringer will get Hodge.

I think some confuse these as the same when they are different and given for different reasons.

Zain by himself is in 17th place in the team race.

I was talking more specifically about the big ten final. Here he may have taken some steam out of Martinez.

Bo may have been sick this tournament. I really don't know. Franklin lunatic jinxed this. Wow

Live by the sword, die by the sword. Win knocks Iowa off the podium.

That one hurts. Bo lets it all hang out every match. He got caught in that one. It sucks. Martin is good, no doubt.

Damn, damn, damn.

Live by the sword, die by the sword.

Bo tried the inside trip in the 1st period, and once again lost the leg and got taken to his back.

In the 2nd period, Bo nearly had it, but got out-hipped and thrown to his back.

Hats off to Myles Martin. He out executed, especially in that he took advantage of what was presented to him. Believe the final was 11-9

Bo is too good getting to legs to try stuff like that all the time. If it's there fine but Martin was never going to get to Bo's legs.

Huge disappointment. He is so much better than Martin and he got sloppy when it mattered. Really a tough loss. Hard to swallow.

Again, Bo with a throw attempt that goes wrong, and is down 1-2 early.

Then gave up a 6 point move on the edge on another failed throw - he had Martin on the throw, but as they went toward the mat, he slipped off Bo's hip and gained the leverage as they went to the mat. Gave up 8 points on blown throws.

Live by the funk, die by the funk. Also didn't use his time well in the third period.
