Just the WR screenA screen pass? Are you kidding me. When is the last time you saw PSU run one of them.
Difference between Sutherland and Brisker making a tackle from the Safety position is about 10 yards, not in PSU's favor.....![]()
Not sure it really was an overthrow, as the defender was pulling one of the TE's arms down before the ball got there. It could have been a nice catch if not for the uncalled PI ...Agree. How do you overthrow your 6'6" TE?
Yes, the first time he went down. On the second time, he got hit on the head at the bottom of a falling pile and was looking kinda doozyDid they say he had some muscle tightening? Cramps?
He only gave him 1/2 yard?Need to give him one yard in NCAA.
IT wasn't a great throw but it was catchable. It was a poor throw.
Unimpeded opportunity. One yard applies by width of receivers shoulders and extends one yard IN FRONT of him.The NCAA Rule Book
Looked more like somebody fell on his ribs while he was stretched outThink he might be concussed
Trust me, it is a penalty.By rule it wasn't a penalty. There's no halo. Contact before the ball arrives is the rule. Bad call.
Width of receivers shoulders and extending in front. He was at the sideTrust me, it is a penalty.
Rule 6-4-1-b in the 2021 NCAA Rule Book…
SECTION 4. Opportunity To Catch a Kick
Interference With Opportunity
ARTICLE 1. a. If an inbounds player of the receiving team is located where they could catch a free kick or a scrimmage kick that has crossed the neutral zone, and if the player is attempting to do so, they must be given an unimpeded opportunity to catch the kick (A.R. 6-3-1-III, A.R. 6-4-1-V, VI and IX).
b. It is an interference foul if, before the receiver touches the ball, a Team A player enters the area defined by the width of the receiver’s shoulders and extending one yard in front of him. When in question it is a foul.
Exactly…and benefit of the doubt goes to the returner…that play should be called every time.Unimpeded opportunity. One yard applies by width of receivers shoulders and extends one yard IN FRONT of him.
So now it’s benefit of doubt. Just admit you’re wrong.Exactly…and benefit of the doubt goes to the returner…that play should be called every time.
