197 QF: Dean vs Bulsak
(follows Caffey’s 4-2 victory over Penola)
Dean shoots a single… switches to double… turning and gets TD after short scramble. Rutgers arguing it wasn’t a TD. They go to video. They rule no TD. Interesting. Dean gets another single and quick finish. No doubt that time. Quick escape and it’s 2-1 Dean. Scoreboard not always keeping up. Dean the clear agressor sets up a beautiful single and another super quick finish before time expires.
Dean takes bottom and is out in 9 secs. Scoreboard says 3-1. I guess they didn’t give him the TD at end of first. Dean in on single, has leg in air and kind of falls in Buksak for a TD. 5-1 Dean. Bulsak switches and Dean gives one not two. 5-2 Dean. Ref tells them to knock it off with finger grabs. 5-2 after two.
Bulsak chooses bottom. Dean now riding. Uh-oh. Elevating Bulsak’s leg. Cross body ride with one boot. Lifting ankle and working cross face. No turn but hard ride and working hard. Bulssk now completely flat. Stalemates it while Dean looked like he could be close to a turn. Buksak tries a switch and almost escapes. Key word is almost. 3rd period rideout. 6-2 final with riding time. Dominant win.

So we advance 7 to the QF. And have all 10 still wrestling, sure, it’d be great to have 8 in QF (DH), but it’s hard to complain, especially with the bonus points we’ve seen.

He did go after it. Lance stalled his arse off.
Wrong, he hurt it when the guy sprawled and he completely let go of Smith's leg and Smith was in the process of spinning behind him (which he would have easily done as Kem was laying head down on mat holding shoulder) when Kemerer screamed out and asked for an injury stoppage.... how you figure he was "in deep" WHEN HE YELLED OUT TO REF FOR STOPPAGE is well beyond me - he absolutely was not "in deep" when he ASKED FOR THE STOPPAGE and was about to give up the TD when he asked for, and Ref acquiesced with, a stoppage.
