I saw that! I was so busy rooting against Iowa that I didn’t know they were doing so well. For the bracket experts, did UM overachieve their seed or we’re they expected to do well early on.
Dumb is a big understatement. Those singlets are awful (I can't tell what team it is; keep thinking it's Lehigh), and also ugly as hell.
Is it me or did they show the UPSET ALERT chryon for about 20 minutes after Hilde lost and then never showed it once when Berge beat Young?
I get it for wrestling and hockey. They were a complete sh&t show during Covid.

UM has eight guys in the semis and two still alive in the consolation bracket. No other team has more than seven guys in the semis (PSU).
Im left wondering if they put Kem back on the mat.
I think he goes ... MFFing gives 9 free points to PSU and is basically letting Carter wrestle the finals with 2 minutes of mat time the day before.
They make zero sense to tell us the bout number in the ticker. Mat assignments, people. I realize I can look elsewhere for them, but…….

That's an awful big risk before Nationals. If this were the NCAA Tourney, he definitely goes...., but given that it's the Conference Tournament, he's putting his NCAA Tourney at risk, so I'm not so sure.
Especially since a MFF doesn't count as a loss for NCAA Tourney seeding purposes.

If I were them I’d sacrifice the chance at Big title for health. Hell, they may not like the way the tourney is going for them anyway with not only PSU contending but also Michigan.
Before session 1, if someone said to me that Hildebrandt would be the only PSU wrestler to not have any team points, I probably would not have believed it. Hope he can go on a run on the backside.
He'll wrestle. He's a warrior and that's what warriors due. Even if it hurts......and I think he's hurting bad
Frustrating match. I thought Drew was the better wrestler, though the kid from NW has beaten Drew before. I think DeAugustano took one shot the entire match - the one he finished in SV.
Fair enough but if I’m coach I remind him he came back to be a National Champ not a Big 10 champ. Then I pull the plug on him if I have to.
He torqued his shoulder when Smith (duhO$U) sprawled hard after Kem shot a single.
Then 15 seconds later he blasted in for a winning takedown showing no signs of anything
The signs have been there all year. He just powers through the pain with extreme mental toughness/grit.
He clearly was in a lot of pain when it happened - he was laying head-down on mat holding his shoulder and he was still whincing when he came back to center after Medical TO for restart.
Yeah but his coaches arent like that
