In other games we were able to move the ball but failed to score for a variety of reasons. Allen & Singleton have been shut down running and no WR or TE caught a 1st half pass until that last drive.
It's going to take quite a second half turnaround.
I'm going to be the one preaching to the choir but this first offensive drive for Ohio State likely decides a game. A touchdown probably effectively puts the chances at a comeback close to zero. That being said, this Nittany Lions' team has passed a lot of gut checks this season but this will be their biggest yet.
This is where running a gadget, gimmick offense with a serviceable, but annually frustrating OL, hurts. We have nothing to fall back to and rely on during in-game struggles. What is our identity? The running game is blah, our pass game is 1 player. JF hasn't had an identity, a set of reliable aspects, i.e. running or passing in seemingly ever. Yet he constantly says they self scout and try to find ways to improve. Interesting because the same issues are there every year.
Also LOL at people saying playing Beau is hurting us. Offense looked infinitely better with him in 2nd half last week than Allar. Some of his throws have been questionable and not targeting the right guys.
The pick 6 was great defense.
The fumble was forced, not a fluke.
Perhaps lucky that the review give us the ball, but luck would have been incomplete on the OSU pick.
We haven't had an offensive identity today. Partly Buckeyes play, partly the juggling act of everything AK has called. Drops have been a killer.
Regarding penalties:
- The non PI call on Clifford was close. Lando is wrong that it's never called.
- The taunting call we really don't know. It depends on what he said. If it was called just because he stepped over the ball carrier it was a B.S. call.
- Who took of their helmet? Dumb!

Everyone keeps saying we're not getting open. Warren has been mugged every plat 10 yds down the field. They have yet to call that. The only reason they called it at the 4 is Wallace caught it. Give the kids a fair chance. Keep calling the dB a spy is generous..
See what FOX said. The offense wasn't better with him. Fleming's drop was the only difference last week. And we're always better in the second half agai st weaker teams because talent takes over

Problem is that a good bit of PSU's total was on the first drive for only a FG.
I misread the original message. Thought they were talking about the 4th down bobbling catch OSU made.
