Unless they are over weight and are literally just burning calories, doing two a days in-season doesn't seem like the solution to the problem.

Call me crazy, but punishing your kids for a poor performance may not be the best way to bring them back up to par.

Smith may feel like he has to do something after the last month. This prolly ain’t it, though. They apparently recently started raising money for their RTC and launched a Basch-made website. Hard to inspire dollars with Ls.

The problem is they're just not that good. Not sure they can make top 5 at nationals even if they catch a ton of breaks.

Brands I think is nailing down his Iowa legacy. Hes got the B14 and NC titles. His dual WS. But what will create his own legacy is the womens program and the new facility. He wont ever be gable but those 2 things are huge accomplishment to go along with the winning.

Tan Tom has the facility, the recruiting got his NC but he needs more to get into the best coach discussion.

Ok State recruits and recruits well. That they have holes is something well need to review after the march fireworks. Smith is starting to look old to me. He needs to get a few things in order quickly to ride off into the sunset. He has the wins, a great program, etc but he hasnt been able to break through the Iowa/PSU/B14 and Im sure that turns his cowboy hat sideways.

I gotta give Iowa credit for starting a women’s program. I think I read it was to fix a title IX problem, but they did it and they did it with wrestling. If Penn State wanted to do the same and was seeking donations to do so… sign me up.
