Football Penn State defeats USC 33-30 in overtime!

USC could win this game easily. PSU weakness is zone pass coverage. In man coverage we don't have the type of discipline needed to stop the run.

To win this game the offense has to play smarter. No low percentage stuff. I don't think Singleton is 100%, which is why Allen has been getting so many carries.

The only time the DL has gotten pressure is when USC lets them on a called screen.

I think USC is just a better and better coached team.

Carter brings the heat, we get beat on a quick release screen.

They know what we do and they're taking advantage.

Has USC shown all these screens before this game or is PSU just not prepared for them?

At this point, I think he only trusts Warren to actually make a play
They need to get Clifford more involved
Clifford needs to get Clifford more involved. If you aren't open, you aren't going to make a play.

pull your D coord in from...rolls dice...Indiana, and expect to be a Natty contender?

Abdul and the rush ends have been absolutely silent. What a shock.

I agree sending Lambert-Smith packing for Flemming was a bad decision at least he got open

Penn State once again stops USC on third down. Trojans make the 47-yard field goal, its now 20-6 USC with 7 seconds left. Penn State will likely kneel it out to end the half but will get ball coming out of halftime. A drive that could decide their fate.
