If we lose it speaks volumes about Franklin--we're the better team
PSU needs to drive for a TD in their 1st possession of the 2nd half and they're right back in it. Anything less and they could be in trouble
The obvious.
1. Two FGs in the red zone doesn't cut it. got to score TDs.
2. USC has a big speed advantage at the skill positions. Their killing us on the edges and in space.
3. Nick and Katron need some vision, and a jump cut.
4. Our WRs are so out classed in this game.
5, And last but not least. we're getting out coached, what's new.

DL getting washed away on runs. LBs not playing downhill. Their OL is doing just enough and they have schemed their yards.

We do agree on this--take the reigns off and let AK run his offense with Allar
I don't disagree, but many coaches haven't figured it out so far. Hopefully, we can turn that around with some adjustments in the second half.
Lose this game and the playoffs are likely done. Pencil in Big Game James’ annual loss to Ohio State as well as a trip to Wisconsin and it would take a lot of things to fall right for PSU to get a playoff spot.
Then you need to root against us a bunch because we probably need to lose out for that to happen
It's a different step game planning vs teams that overlook you compared to a game that's been highlighted for 3 weeks.

In their defense, for the most part, PSU has won the games they were supposed to win over the last couple of years. They definitely did that for years though.

It was a difficult half. No worse than the BGSU half.
We get the ball to start the quarter but even if we lose this we're still in good shape to make the playoff
This is why USC losing last week was bad though--this game only helps them
But this team has equal talent, which is what I was saying. They definitely have a history of playing down to the level of teams with less depth and overall talent, though the last couple of seasons have been better.
