PSU - Iowa 2020 Dual Thread

Gable is almost suggesting that Meredith has a chance against Lee. Has he been drinking?

How many techs do you think it took to get the earpiece to stay in Gable's left cualiflower ear?

I gotta wonder how many people new to the sport are watching and wondering what the heck is up with that, lol.

CS on the pre-match show:
- we're excited to see where we're at, and how the guys respond
- you have to count on the experienced guys to help the younger guys with their nerves, emotion, etc.
- Iowa does a great job, they've won a slew of National Championships. Their staff is outstanding. It's a fun place to compete
- RBY vs. DeSanto is a big match, we need to steal that if we want to win. RBY has to enjoy the opportunity, and score when the opportunity is there
- @ 165, two of the best going at it. We feel Vincenzo can beat anyone. He's going against somebody you have to beat if you want to be a national champ
- Hall vs. Kemerer -- another great match
- two young rising stars @ 184. Brooks is mature, and sees the big picture. Losing last match should be a blessing, and he's responded well. This is all preparation for March, but we want to put our best foot forward tonight
- Shak's had plenty of matches; he needs to let things fly a bit, and trust that he's healthy, and see what he can do
- there's not a lot of secrets in this day and age. At 285, it's a great opportunity for Seth

How many guys are bringing their hips to the party . . .

Or having a workmanlike win tonight?

125: Brandon Meredith vs. #1 Spencer Lee

Per 1
Lee with a shuck bye for a TD and is quickly getting swipes -- it's 4 NF, so it's 0-6. Stall warning on Meredith. Then an esc, 1-6. Lee in behind and gets the TD, 1-8. and he title him and gets 4 NF, 1-10. Stoppage for ??? (perhaps OOB) with 1:08 left). Lee working a bar and gets 4 NF, 1-14. Stoppage for a a PD with 48 sec left. End. RT @ 2:46 for Lee

Per 2
Lee takes neutral. He's in on a single, gets the TD and the TF, 1-16, @ 3:17

0-5, Iowa

I have never hoped a PSU wrestler got teched. That was literally best case scenario for us. Keeps them from earning 6 points.
