PSU -llinois Dual Thread

Jason was going to be up 11-3 before he stuck IMAR. Jason was going to win match as IMAR looked blown out very quickly. The excitement of the big match up might have zapped his endurance. Looked that way.

Tognetti may show but with an excuse in tow.
He better bring his humility. Jason got the 1st take down and stayed relentless in the 2nd. IMAR with two stalling calls was not accustomed to having someone bring the match to him and tired early. Jason gets the takedown and puts him on his back at the same time. IMAR just looked shocked... and stuck.

Rasheed had nothing left after 1. That just won't work at big tens or nationals.

Great match by Nolf. Took it right to him never thought I would see someone handle I-Mar like that. He really did not look himself even from the start.

Intermission.

Wow, that's an amazing 5 matches. Only Jimmy's was a mundane match. Rasheed lost, but he was in a wild, back and forth match. Nolf with the pin was beyond my expectations. I thought it would be a close match. IMar seemed like he wanted to go for big throws, and Nolf wasn't having anything to do with that. Bo really showed how talented he was. He got the pin, but he was in a real battle there. Zain was Zain.

Agreed. He looked like he really wanted that escape review because he was blowing hard. Wow

Big Bo Nickal erases Brunson! What a match! Looks like Bo hurt his left shoulder. Stellar!

We are starting to hear "Imar did not look like himself" almost as if there may be something wrong with Imar, not that Jason is just plain better. At least on this day anyway. You can bet this will be in Imar's memory and training the rest of the year. PA wrestling!

It didn't look too serious, just sore or so. I doubt it's a factor going forward. Maybe take a match off if it's really bothering

Illinois wrestlers seem to have nothing left in the tank in the third.... Cael has it going down.....

this team is just so much damn fun to watch. I'm out of breath after those first 5 matches. Freaking love it!!

BTW, for those that noticed, Willie picked Nolf over IMar earlier this week on FloRadioLive.

Most in the wrestling community didn't give Nolf a chance and at best maybe thought he would lose by 2. Willie went out on a limb to say Nolf would beat him. Imar tried to just go out there and manhandle him and it was Jason's technique and foot work that negated that. After the first Imar was winded and in trouble because Nolf never stops coming. I think this match also showed that Jason is becoming more confident in his skills as he wasn't as hesitant as he was against Jo Jo.

I thought it was me. Need to go back and watch but that's what I thought too.

#9 Cutch vs. Jeff Koepke

1st
No shots thru 1st min. Cutch with a go behind for the TD at 1:48, 2-0. Koepke pretty flat on bottom. Cutch locks the right arm. Koepke nearly gets out, and gets an esc as they go OOB with 47 sec, 2-1. Cutch with an ankle pick, Koepke with a step over. End Cutch with 57 sec of RT

2nd
Koepke takes down. Caution on Cutch. Koepke up and ou tin 3 sec, 2-2. Stalemate with 1:31 left. Koepke in on a single, and gets the TD with a trip at 59 sec, but instantly stopped as Cutch's knee appears to be hurt. He's in some agony. Not a good sight. Injury time is running here. He's going to injury default, as he limps off the mat.
