a heads up -- I'll miss at least the first third of the dual, and possibly all of it. So, little or no PBP from me. I hope others can fill in.

Time - 2 pm EST

TV - none

Video streaming -- I believe it's on BTN +, but don't have time to verify that

Audio streaming -- as always, Ironhead will be steamed for free. You can access his coverage at:

Hope the seniors and their families get sent out in style!

Mark has more live matches under his belt this year than anyone else on the team...

That may be true, but he's still a TRFR. Every match is important to him, more so than anybody besides Nick Suriano.

However, be that as it may, I still think we see Geno today at 174lbs.

Senior Day ceremonies just wrapping up, as Penn State honors Jimmy Gulibon, Caleb Livingston, Geno Morelli and Brian Brill.

Dreary rain outside but lots of pink and black t-shirts in the stands today here in Rec Hall. I'll provide match results in this thread but please chime in as well. More the merrier!

Introductions coming shortly as opening whistle is fewer than 10 minutes away

Former coaches being honored before today's match –Hachiro Oishi, John Fritz and Rich Lorenzo.

Great respect shown from the fans here and a standing ovation

Man, Law didn't look bad, but you can't get caught like that. Tough one for Law. He wasn't happy.

Gulibon gets Ryan Diehl for his final Rec Hall dual. Diehl scores first but Gulibon escapes and the scores next. 3-2 Gulibon heading into the 2nd

These announcers are killing me. They had it right with Diehl and they think Simmons is now wrestling. How difficult is it to get the right wrestler?

Gulibon up 6-2 heading into the third. Scored a takedown that Maryland challenged but "technical difficulties" wouldn't allow it. MD keeps its challenge

Standing ovation for Jimmy Gulibon as he beats Diehl, 9-4, in his final Rec Hal dual. Continued pushing the pace until the end.

Penn State back up, 8-6

He almost got in the first but he gets it in the second (3:17) Retherford pins Whitesell at 149 and Penn State is up 14-6.

Did anyone else notice the ref cover his mouth and say something to Jason as he was waiting for the other guy to get back to the center after the pin? I can only imagine what he said to him.

Since the depth of my technical knowlege is limited, can someone please explain why Law was pinned in the 133 match, and when Gillibon had the MD kid on his back briefly (twice) it wasn't a fall? In Law's case, I don't think the MD kid was even awarded a take down... is it because in the 141 match the MD wrestler kept moving and wasn't stationary for any measurable time? Thanks in advance for the explanation.
