PSU - Minny Dual Thread

Te'Shan Campbell just lost to Hiles of Michigan State in overtime after his 4th stalling call and 3rd point. To say that Tan Tom was graceful would not be accurate....didn't know you could throw the brick challenging the 4th stalling call Tee Hee
Those stall calls were questionable none the less still a bad performance by him

keep in mind that Krone is not the usual starter. I wouldn't make any decision about PSU's starter based on tonight's match

It's not just tonights match. Since the Scuffle, has anyone on the team been more dominant than Shak? Zain, Jason, and Bo have been AS dominant, but Shak has been just as good a those guys from the start of the Scuffle until today. He's destroying everyone put in front of him.

I had to rewind the DVR to make sure I heard that right. It was already a tortured metaphor but it just got worse and worse as it fell out of his mouth.
In the Nevills match, he just said Nick is pushing 275? Where did Nick weigh in today?

With the forfeit coming at 149, I believe PSU has locked up the dual at intermission. Perhaps not technically, as PSU could lose team a team point or two, and thus lose, but essentially it is locked up.

285: #6 Nick Nevills vs. Rylee Streifel

Schnupp getting behind Lizak looked like it surprised everyone: Rec Hall, Lizak, Schnupp, me here at home...

Lizak is incredibly long for a 125lber. If you're undersized at 125lbs you're going to have a real bad time.

Nevills win does lock up the dual

125: Devin Schnupp vs. #6 Ethan Lizzak

Per 1
Lizak shoots a double, Schnupp sprawls, nothing. Schnupp with a throw by, yet somehow he ends up giving up a TD even though he was in good shape, 0-2. Lizak with a turn and gets 4 NF, 0-6. Lizak really working for another tilt, but Schnupp is battling. Warning on Schnupp. On the edge. End RT at 1:52 for Lizak. Schnupp did a good job of not getting turned several times

Per 2
Lizak takes top. Caution on Lizak. Lizak throws in boots and gets a tilt, and is awarded 4 NF, 0-10. Lizak working a 2-on-1 but doesn't give up points, so far (had 1 swipe). Stall warning on Schnupp for a point, 0-11. Schnupp has Lizak's foot, but the buzzer sounds. RT at 3:52 for Lizak.

Per 3
Schnupp takes neutral. Lizak in on a single and gets the TD, 13-0. RT is locked. He tilts Schnupp and gets 3 swipes. 2 NF awarded, so it's a 0-15 TF at 6:22 for Lizak

25-5, PSU

When will we get another elite ‘25#er &’33#er? Because we look pretty poor at those classes...realize that we lost high quality suriano and his daddy to butgers, we need some high end recruiting there.

I think Keener is very savvy. He has tools and fundamentally he is very good. He is just not quite as athletic as some of the other guys at 133.

Keener falls begind big to McKee early but rally's back in the third and staves off a major decision

PSU up 25-8 with one more to go and a FF

Keener needs to start better.

25-8, PSU

That was a nice job of Keener to get the bonus point back, still I would of liked to see him compete earlier.

Where the hell was that the first 5+ minutes. That would have been a much different match if Keener started like he finished. Great finish though to prevent the tech fall and even take away the major
