Lee with a partial shot, nothing. Thorn in on a head outside single, got in deep, but Lee somehow avoids the TD, nothing. Lee tries to get behind but Thorn moves his feet, nothing. 1:30 left. Lee in on a single and gets the TD, 2-0. Lee throws in a boot. Now it's out. Thron to his feet and Lee cuts him, 2-1. 38 sec left. Lee tries to sneak behind again, nothing, and they are OOB with 12 sec left. Lee in on a leg, nearly gets it but the buzzer sounds. RT at 29 sec for Lee

Thorn takes bottom. Lee takes the RT over 1 min, and then Thorn gets out, 2-2. Lee in on a single, Thorn does a split and works a whizzer, but Lee gets the TD, 4-2. Stall warning on Thorn. End. RT at 2:07 for Lee

Nick just gets stronger as the match goes on

He had him decked. Instead Lee settles for the major decision over Thorn. That's pretty big

Lee and Rasheed are the XX Factors this year. Someone might soon be saying "The Super Seven" or something like that.
The emergence of Nick Lee and Shakur Rasheed cannot be making those hoping to see PSU lose this year happy. They've got to be pounding their head against the wall. Those guys are going to put up bonus at nationals.

That's been amazingly impressive over our recent duals.
On the scoring front, earned escapes are certainly worth the point, but imagine a system where "releases" were not rewarded. The point differential would be even more dramatic for aggressive teams, and Jason earns an easy tech fall tonight against a passive opponent.

Gibbons was channeling Amy Schumer for a minute. It was bizarre. He first said something like "Bo has a lot of tools in his tool box. Those tools like going in Bo's box". Then he continued talking about those tools and quoted the tools saying: "Bo would you do me".
It was a doubletake of the proportions of when the Wedding Singer in 'Old School' starting dropping F bombs during 'Total Eclipse of the Heart'.

I was hoping that was Schnupp's strategy--it might have been, but it didn't work. Keener, on the other hand, seemed to have the technique down.

After Eggum got Thorn his lunger and was walking back to his corner he pulled out his cell phone. Either he needed to check FaceBook or he was checking a timer to see how much lung time he scammed.
It's mostly on the Ref in this case. If there is no challenge, then there is NO REASON the Ref should give him that much time.
