Hall should probably speak to Cutch for some pointers on expanding his variety of attacks, which he presently lacks.Byers saying Cutch has been showing a variety of attacks with flurries of shots all season. Ok.
You can only have a true variety of attacks if you've trained in Europe. Signed, TR FoleyHall should probably speak to Cutch for some pointers on expanding his variety of attacks, which he presently lacks.
Byers asked him about that move, and Livingston said: Zain taught me that about 2 weeks ago. He pinned me with it 5 times in one practice, so I asked him to show it to me.Got to love Caleb's post match interview - Zain you got to show me that pinning combination!
Nevills dicking around at the end instead of working a decent pinning combination. Not sure what he's doing with that "arm pull" but there's no leverage at all. Why doesn't he at least throw a wing and a bar in and run the hell out of it? Throw in a bar and half, it's confusing what he's trying to accomplish on top.....and he had beau coups pins in high school? I do like him a lot by the way...just want to see him be more dominant.
In fairness to Byers, Jennings looked like he had quit. I suspect he would've stayed quit if Nick hadn't given him that opportunity.Nevills got real sloppy at the end of his match. There really was no point in cutting the guy with 15 seconds left in the match, as he only led 4-1 (plus the RT point) and there wasn't anywhere near enough time to get a major. Then he allows himself to get cradled and had to fight hard to avoid losing the match.
Byers blew the call too. He had just said something like, "And Jennings is done, you can just see it" and then a couple seconds later Jennings hooks up the cradle, gets a TD and comes way too close to getting back points.
I think I could hear the coaches yelling for Nick to let him up and try to get one more TD. Nothing wrong with doing that in a meaningless dual. Just another opportunity to learn.
No chance the coaches do that come Big Ten and NCAA time.

Nevills needs to turn an inferior opponent such as this guy.

Jennings is huge and didn't try to do much from bottom. No easy task to turn a guy like that.
Throw a bar and half when he's lying flat and drive the ear on a 45 angle toward the bleachers...he'll do something.
Of course! Why didn't he think of that?Throw a bar and half when he's lying flat and drive the ear on a 45 angle toward the bleachers...he'll do something.
With this news, maybe we should start a No Hodge thread.PD3 missed today's dual with OSU, where he would've faced Nolan Boyd. No Hodge thread so I'll just leave this here.
I think this was a classic sandwich meet. In between the huge individual match ups at 65 & HW of Wisconsin and the big meet of tOSU. Northwestern was throwing pretty much no one out there. A little drop off is performance was absolutely to be expected.
Why not?But seriously. Why did Livingston wrestle? Senior thing or not?
No, not a senior thing...but not serious either, precautionary only. But seriously. Why did Livingston wrestle? Senior thing or not?
