Man i couldve sworn bo wouldve pinned that guy

Entire lineup looks pretty sluggish. Travel and weigh-ins two days apart may have something to do with that, but Wisconsin would have the same excuse. Wisconsin/Bono deserves a lot of credit for having his guys this focused.

Pretty flat. Wisky had to be feeling a little salty after their performance on Friday night also.

Interview

- Wisconsin came to scrap

Talk a little about your bout
- just score points. I really wanted the major

You got 5 TDs, and nearly got the major. How good are you feeling about your wrestling
- I feel I'm wrestling well, but I'm always improving. I learned some things from the Scuffle. I take back that loss at Nationals where it counts

Missed questions
- I'm good on my feet. I really worked on the mat components on the summer, and still need to improve my turning

Is the travel this weekend an issue
- it's a good thing to experience, and tests us

Talk a little bit about having a full week to prepare for Nebraska
- I'm excited. I'll eat a lot of food, and have some fun

The match kind of reminded me of Rutgers. They wanted to get physical and keep it close. Not at all concerned but seemed like guys could have wrestled better. Watch the best coaches in colllege turn it into a blessing.

PSU won the takedown battle in the dual, 39-8

Thanks. That's more indicative of the overall wrestling. But as said above, this match really reminded me of last year's Michigan match, which I thought was the most flat of Cael's tenure to that point.

Credit to Wisconsin after crapping the bed Friday, though.

Good try troll! Just because you had a bad day lol PSU won the dual fair and square. Come here because PSU fans know and respect wrestling. You just sound stupid.
I watched the entire match. Your team wrestled tough, but the majority of the time your guys were moving backwards. Your takedowns were off of counters, not all of them, but most of them. The takedowns in regulation of the 141 match were all counters to Nick Lee’s shots. Lee kept going in on a single and then your guy was stepping over, scooting behind and wrapping his leg over. His only legit takedown off of his own shot was the one in OT. My hat’s off to him; he found a weakness in Nick’s game and exploited it, but don’t sit there and claim he dictated the pace.

Lots of overreaction, if Cenzo wrestles and wins over Wick I doubt we hear about the issues. The focus would have been on him and if Berge doesn’t give up late score? I thought many of our guys wrestled really good

Never did you fool. Lol I have stated multiple time PSU was the better team and won the dual. But Wisconsin fought their tails off and won 4 matches against the #1 team including 2 upset wins.

Bergez’s Gonna lose a match like that here and there; its’s more understandable since he’s a frosh. Nick Lee though, I would expect to have a little more control and make in match adjustments. I’m sure he’ll approach his guy a little differently if he faces him in the future.

Giving Wisconsin credit for wrestling with attitude today. Also acknowledging the PSU kids not only trained hard all week, but a fairly hard go yesterday. Fatigue challenge, you need to maintain focus and compete hard through the fatigue. Nick and Brady competed hard. They just need to keep things a bit more sharp.

Exactly...Berge wrestles like that, I was confused by Nick’s performance, otherwise what I expected overall. Most important , no injuries and a W

Nice use of insults. I guess that makes your point better. As I said, I watched the match. I saw how many individual matches you won, so it’s not new information. Share something we don’t know already captain obvious.

This guy would like to have a word with you

Nope. Ducking is when a guy wrestles against a less heralded opponent, skips a highly ranked guy and wrestles again the next week vs a less heralded opponent. Not the case here. Something is up with Cenzo and he just couldn't go either day. Sad for him.
Don’t forget ducking is also when a different team’s wrestler doesn’t wrestle in big matches but it’s not the same when the team you root for’s wrestler does the same because of a myriad of justified reasons.

Funny thing is this involves ALL fan bases.

Intentional or not, Cenzo effectively secured the #1 seed at B1Gs today, and Wick will have to get through Marinelli.

Thought almost all our guys faded in the 3rd (hat tip to Jason and Mark). Very evocative of Michigan last year. Bet they’ve been grinding hard in the room.

Jazzed that Bono is coaching i the B1G now—he’s a great coach, and entertaining to watch.

Frustrating stalling by Wisconsin. And the ref seems neutralized by Wisconsin coach. Crowd getting mad at ?(everything, everybody)

Nothing’s changed since day 1. tOSU favored at 125, 133, 141, 149 and 184. We favored in other 5. We have a chance to knock off a few of their favored guys and they have no chance to knock off ours. Plus we get bonus
I would say Moore has a ‘chance’ to beat Nickal. He is the #2 guy at the weight. A great chance? Hell no. A chance? Yes.
