Assuming Brandt Harer follows Conner to Rutgers what weight do people think he ends up? A middleweight section of Parkins, Harer, Harer is pretty solid.

Probably will depend on Conner’s experience at RU and how well he does there..

149? Will be interesting to see how much he grows this offseason.

Rutgers will be better off if he can get to 157, assuming Parkins or Nini can go 149 (both are listed 141).

Parkins-Nini-Harer-Harer would give Rutgers some elite middleweights.

Too early too tell who will be elite.. plenty of top 10 p4p class recruit even that don’t workout for w.e reason.. although like Harer’s chances.

Gibbons called Van Brill elite because he had qualified for 2 Big Ten tournaments.

I believe the rankings listed were those within their weight classes. I usually do a mulitple of 5 to determine a wrestlers upside. If you are 7th in your weight class, there are about 5 times that many wrestlers for the the five years in school with you that are above your level. So a 7th ranked guy will be lucky to qualify for nationals. A guy ranked 2nd will be a borderline AA generally.

I wonder where you got this idea from :p

How many years of eligibility does Erik Gibson have left he's been out of High School for 4 years now, maybe only 3.

Thats not a bad get, good for Rutgers and Gibson. Some of these dudes just want to wrestle..

It’s still just Rutgers. Kudos to them for finally understanding PA wrestlers make alot more sense than Jersey kids. Send all them to Cornell

Magro decommitted from Brown a couple days ago. Yet again the simplest answer is the correct one, and Erik Gibson remains at PSU.

They haven't beaten a team that ended the year in the top ten since the 2015-16 season.
Yep and it looks to stay that way unless they can get more AA lvl guys somehow.. and that team was only top 10 bc a shitliner came through.. would probably need to shit a pound of pickles this time… lol

Meh. Maybe, but IDK if Goodale is really gonna kick Soldano to the curb. And they weren't among his recruiting finalists despite him being not so far away at Wyoming Seminary.

His other recruiting finalists make more sense. Missouri has a need at 2 weights with O'Toole and Hawks both graduating. VT has a definite need at 174, and TJ Stewart is really struggling (0-4) this year at 184.

To the extent this matters, Arnold's dad wrestled at Missouri.
Doubt Arnold goes on the shit liner.. but.. Soldano’s best move would probably be to go 174 next year after Turley graduates.. bc he usually looks undersized at 184.

The Rutgers reference goes back to a dude on the Rutgers board who, at varying times, has claimed to be a:

  • 2nd year undergrad taking precalc AND 400 level engineering as an elective at the same time
  • Rutgers wrestler from the 90s who won two matches at nationals but DNP
  • 2x AA for Rutgers from the early 80s that is now a professional fly fisherman
He claims to have insider info that two studs from Penn St and one from Iowa are transferring to Rutgers after this season.

Edit: now he’s posting it’s three from
Penn State and one from Iowa headed to Rutgers after the season

P.S. he’s on his 3rd user name b/c he’s been banned there twice

You recently called out Crackers for posting at 3:30am, saying he doesn’t really live in Colorado. Crackers responded that it was only 12:28 in Colorado.

Colorado is 2 hours behind NJ, not 3. If the mods would let me post that there, I would.

If only he learned how to wrestle against good wrestlers instead of relying on wacky stuff that works only on lesser wrestlers. But three years at Rutgers haven't seemed to help much.

I got banned there because, I kid you not, the mod said he got tired of people calling him (including during dinner time) complaining about my opinions. I asked what rules I violated, he told me none, but people didn't like my opinions.

Did you get his phone number? we could get some people to call him (including during dinner time) to get you reinstated. 🤣

There’s no gtd three years at any x school woulda helped anyone really much.. elite programs have guys that don’t work out for one reason or another all the time.. guess Ohio state sucks bc didn’t help Decatur out very much etc.. ultimately it’s on the wrestler how much they wanna improve.. and Psu recruit the best guys that also wanna improve/intangibles.
