The morning weigh-in really helped Valencia on the final day. He looked huge and active in the final. Way different than he looked when Hall wrestled him in State College. Ziyad was every bit as big as Bo or Moore. at 197

I second that emotion

I think the morning weigh in is BS but I didn't think Zahid looked much different. Hall just wrestles a style that leads to not being able to make a mistake and he rarely does.

I agree. Zahid was very good on Friday night which was not the case last year. I think Zahid improved his weight mgmt. in that situation over the previous few years.

It is BS that the finalists wrestling at 7 PM are weighing in at 10 AM. You should weigh-in one hour before the start of your session. That would help some wrestlers on Friday night.

You shoot you win, if you don't you often don't.

Hall and VJ have all the talent in the world, but neither we're aggressive enough to bring it home this time. Weigh in schmeigh in, aggression wins.

I hate to even think it yet say it, but it almost cost Nolf in the semis.

I know these kids are all great opponents but if you respect someone's defense too much it can come back to bite you

"If you don't, you often don't" Hard to argue that reasoning.:D

They are so evenly matched these 1 point matches like here and the 2017 semi are likely more par to the course than the Zahid highlight last year and the mark domination in January
