What I want to see from this match is hall Hall fares on bottom. Because (1) Hall's loss was from not being good enough on bottom; (2) Preisch is a LOT better on top than Brucki; (3) Preisch's style on top is similar to Bo Jordan's.
If Hall chooses neutral, that's a bad sign. You have to plan on being on bottom at some point in an NCAA tournament. Choosing neutral admits he's not ready for that.

All fair. Against penn mark did choose neutral but then penn took top in the third and hall got a fairly quick reversal against a guy known for his top work.
As spyker will tell you, Casey has been giving mark a lot of work from bottom.
I think mark wins by 4 maybe 5 w the RT.
Curious to see how Lizak does against Piccininni. He redshirted last year and could be pretty good.
Looks like Lizak destroyed Picc (15-5). He's rolling through a good field and has yet to have a close match. Impressive!
Suriano better not pick bottom against Ethan....Just ask Connaway....He is very very good with legs and scores back points too. Pa kid who wrestled my son a few times....Super tough on top....His weakest position is on his feet against elite guys....Hope Cael remembers that....Jordan beat him but could not get off bottom the emtire bottom and tried really hard...Legs are insane good....
Can we promise that no matter how well Hall wrestles in these semis that this thread will not be hijacked by the redshirt/no shirt crowd.
That was a good match, Brock started out great on his feet but good job on McGee to get back into it
Heil was so pinned at the end of the second. He has become my least favorite college wrestler. I don't know if I've ever seen him shoot on his feet. He got so many breaks from the refs in that match. The stalling call against DiCamilo was beyond ridiculous. Chris Perry redux, but maybe more terrible.
Despite his #1 ranking, just can't see him repeating this year.
DiCamillo wuz robbed I think. Heil was flat to the mat for maybe 3 seconds while the ref was trying to figure out who to give the two to. Agreed, Heil doesn't shoot, he just comes out on top of every scramble, few which he even initiates.
That sure looked like control there at the end. Another 10 seconds and Heil may have been pinned yet they don't even give DiCamillo the takedown.
He's won in the earlier Scuffle rounds 3-2 and 2-1.
I can't think of a more underwhelming #1 wrestler / returning NCAA champ in recent history.
Minny seems tougher than I ever expected this year. Also can't get too concern with Oklahoma state , just don't see how they beat us
What a Referee mess In the DiCamillo Heil match. How two guys missed Heil flattened is beyond me. Then switched the TD to Heil which made no sense at all. Then....the stall call on the edge to DiCamillo when Heil was clearly pushing him out AND DiCamillo aggressive the entire match. That was a joke. DiCamillo was jobbed.
