US Open

NC State is gonna have a lot of interesting lightweight battles at 125/133. Assuming Wilson will move up.

Storm, Orine, Trombley, Alvarez, Camacho

Pantaleo wrestled like a boring Euro. Almost worked out for him, had a perfect first Period. I thought once Nolf face got mauled he'd annihilate him.

Nice top work from Nolf.

Teske has some FS chops. Wrestling really tough this tournament. He also looks filled out. Would have bet anything he would have lost to Camacho, so he's already proving me to be a complete loser with my Teske takes.

He wrestles like a middleweight, which I never really like in a 125, but it can work out if he keeps developing strength and gets better on the defensive end.
0-2 since this post. Should have stayed true!

Seth is wrestling unattached while Joe Lee is wrestling for the NLWC.

Should I be reading anything into that?

His brother recently announced that he was going to stick around with the NLWC...I don’t think Seth is planning on going anywhere.

Joe Lee didn't have the tournament I expected, but just good to see him back on the mat. Hopefully health isn't a recurring issue for him. Favoring his ankle a bit. Believe he aggravated it in the Mattox match.

Yeah I was going to make a similar post regarding his gimpy match.

so when Snacks takes out Big Cass does that start a small dumpster fire over on the resistance report?

If this happened, I’d be pretty pumped! I’m high on Cass and I’m pretty sure he’s got a bit more freestyle under his belt than Seth.

57 in the Jrs has been interesting. Seeds 2-7 all fell to the consolations before the quarters.

I didn't see any of it, but if he was gimpy and the ankle sore, that makes me feel better. If there is one thing I would nitpick about Joe is that at times I have seen him lose in the consolation after getting knocked out of the Championship round. Not sure if it is a loss of focus or something else, but there have been some losses that seemed to be head scratchers after losing a tough match in the winners bracket. I don't know anything about Conigliaro or that match so I am speaking more generally.

Nico was getting to the legs at will against Brewer and was up 3-0 I believe when Brewer caught him in an upper body tie and tossed him and pinned him

Watching on Flo, are those damn spinning colored lights annoying the hell out of anyone else? Unfortunately Nico just saw them.

If any Penn State fans who are there who read the forum, please unplug them!

The people on here who questioned if Teske was even the best 125 on the roster this past season are gonna feel like absolute fools when they see Teske wrestle in college.
At least they should feel foolish. Whether the manifestation of self awareness includes the ability to recognize self silliness is not always part of the process though.
