Republicans Are Set to Launch Biden Probe Hours After State of the Union

(Bloomberg) -- Hours after Joe Biden delivers his State of the Union Address to Congress, House Republicans will launch their promised investigation into alleged Biden family “influence peddling,” effectively nullifying any message of unity the president may deliver.

DT's on roster

DT seems to be the biggest concern on defense. People on here seem to think PSU is a bit undersized at the postion overall. What would your confidence level be if these four players added 10 lbs of "good playing weight" this offseason?

Coziah Izzard Jr 6'3" 292 lbs + 10 (302 lbs)
Jordan Vanden Berg R-Soph 6'3" 295 lbs + 10 (305 lbs)
Dvon Ellies R-Ser 6'1" 295 lbs + 10 (305 lbs)
Kaleb Artis R-Fr 6'4" 315 lbs + 10 (325 lbs)

Another Racist Killing That Lefties cans use to stoke the flames

"
According to Russell County District Attorney Rick Chancey, Mullins and his friends were simply on the property "apparently doing mischief and rummaging through stuff."
"She said she shot, and I have a dead 12-year-old boy who was doing something he shouldn’t have been doing," Chancey explained, adding that the whole situation was "hard to digest."

Good article on Caleb Brewer, Wyomissing teammate of Jven, PSU offer, and

pretty good wrestler. He made it to the 2nd round consolations at PA state meet last year. He plays TE in the neighborhood of 290 lbs and is 6'5". Sorry that the article originates on a Notre Dame site, but it is fairly informative. He reminds me a bit of Judge Culpepper. I know things didn't work out for him at PSU.

$5 Million Reparations Payment for Black Residents Not Enough, San Francisco Official Says

Not sure about the motivation of this guy. Suffice to say, he's definitely working it. Hard to take him seriously.

Asked if there is a figure that he views as more fair or appropriate, Walton responded, “Definitely not.”

“I don’t think you can put a figure to taking someone from their country, raping and pillaging their communities, not allowing them the chance to reproduce, not allowing them the chance to raise a family and grow wealth, making them work for free,” he said. “I don’t think there’s a number you can put on what that does to a specific ethnic group or a specific race over the generations to come.”

FB Recruiting WeAre.....Better -- 2025 four-star OL Jaelyne Matthews commits to PSU

FOUR-STAR OL COMMITS TO PSU....

MATTHEWS TALKS COMMITMENT....

Best governor ever.

On top of having baby related items, cribs, diapers, strollers etc…. TAX FREE. He is now throwing up a big F-YOU to the current administration by making gas stoves free from sales tax as well. I didn’t think this guy could get any better…..

“When we say don’t tread on Florida or let us alone, we mean that, including on your gas stoves! You’re not taking our gas stoves away from us. That’s your choice! I know many people who cook a lot who do not want to part with their gas stoves,” said DeSantis earlier this month at a press conference in The Villages.

“We’re going to stand up for that. You know, they float this to try to do, and they want to do it, let’s just be honest. And then you start to see the narrative kick into gear. CNN segments saying it’s causing asthma in kids, and all this other stuff. And then they start propagating the narrative, but then they got blowback, so they’ve kind of had to retreat from that,” DeSantis added.

“And now the narrative machine is like ‘Oh, why are these conservatives talking about gas stoves! They’re trying to stoke issues.’ No. You were trying to do it and we’re fighting back. The bottom line is anything they can get away with, they’re going to get away with. And this is just a perfect example of that.”

WaPo Wants News Outlets To Abandon Objectivity

The cult wants to control the message..... Go figure.

https://www.spiked-online.com/2023/02/07/the-mainstream-media-have-given-up-on-truth/

At the end of January, one of the most experienced and well-respected figures in American media authored an op-ed in the Washington Post. In it, Leonard Downie Jr essentially throws the entire idea of objective truth under the proverbial bus.

Downie was executive editor of the Washington Post for nearly two decades, and was one of the editors who worked on the famed Watergate story that led to President Nixon’s resignation. In the op-ed published last month, he writes that ‘truth-seeking news media must move beyond whatever “objectivity” once meant to produce more trustworthy news’.
I thought I couldn’t get any more disappointed in or cynical about the mainstream media, but even a jaded old-timer like me finds it difficult to accept how far this industry has fallen.

According to Downie, the way to gain trust from the public is to abandon objectivity – an argument Downie makes while still calling the media and journalists ‘truth-seeking’. I suppose he just assumes we will take him at his word. Orwell would be proud.
