are absolutely beautiful; they are immediately identifiable with the Phillies. I know that they wear them for Thursday home games, but they definitely should bring them back as a full-time uniform. The uniforms that most teams wore from the mid-70s to mid-80s were so colorful and beautiful compared to the boring whites and grays that most teams wear today.

It's one thing to slam him and/or to believe the lucrative contract extension was a huge mistake.

I mean, I don't subscribe to the most fevered criticism of the guy, but after being a big fan of his hire and performance through 2019, my confidence has been shaken a bit the last couple years, and I do understand why a lot of fans are quite unhappy with him. I also think the long-term extension of his contract with the prohibitive buy-out was a big mistake and seemed like an unnecessarily panicked reaction on the part of the administration.

But all that said, the idea, which many appear to have, that there's any chance in hell he'll be fired, is delusional. Hell, it's almost as delusional as me picking Penn State to beat the Bucks yesterday. Franklin's not going anywhere unless he chooses to go, but if it makes people feel better to pretend otherwise, well, it's a free country.

We are light years behind Behind Ohio State, & Michigan under James Franklin, the guy is an average coach at best, & he needs to be shown the door, sooner, rather than later!

Doesn’t mean anything re: where they’ll compete, but interesting that Van Ness is certified at 165 and Haines at 174. Meaning both will have at least a decent cut. Not surprising for Haines, but surprising for Van Ness.

If the goal is to make the playoffs then Franklin has got to go! His record is putrid against Top 10 teams in his career, & we will never make the playoffs with him as head coach, it simply won’t happen!

This will be interesting. Cass, Kerk, and Parris are all going to wrestle each other while Shultz will be ducking Parris and Cass. They HAVE to ding Shultz if he's gonna pull the duck card again this year. Kerk had to solve Cass, but Parris has Cass number, while Parris can't beat Kerk. Meanwhile Shultz will go undefeated but not wrestle any of them...
