Football GAMEDAY THREAD: Penn State versus Washington

Inquiring minds want to know. I assume its neutral refs if its different conferences, but what if its two teams from the same.

The CFP Committee administers the CFP Playoff, not the Conferences. Officiating Crews assigned by CFP. They use crews from all Conferences but use a crew that has no affiliation to Conference of either team playing (no different than they've done in CFP Bowls including 4-Team Invitational CFP Games).

There's math involved here. Winning out = 11-1, not 10-2.
Winning out is 11-1 but if we're answering questions about it that indicates some still aren't convinced we're in at 10-2 which....is insane as being worried about Washington and Minnesota. Probably Maryland now too.

When you put someone on ignore, it still shows his name, and a message that I'm ignoring him, in any replies ...

I can only imagine the foolishness he's spewing.

When he kept insisting that a 2-loss PSU would definitely be seeded ahead of Notre Dame, even if Notre Dame wins out ... and, as proof of this, I should check the ESPN predictor ... and then when I checked the predictor, in each circumstance of a 2nd loss by us and Notre Dame still winning out, it showed Notre Dame being seeded higher than us ... and when I pointed that out to him, he insisted the predictor showing Notre Dame being seeded higher than us was proof they'd be seeded lower than us ...

Well, I knew it was time to get rid of him.

Not even close to holding - blocker has perfect position the entire time. The b1g homer clown Officials wipe out another PSU TD with a complete joke call especially considering all the REAL holding penalties that they allowed duhO$U to get away with last week.

Nice job by Tom Allen and the D there--Washington substituted late so we forced them to burn a timeout by making subs--well done

The difference is OSU was involved. They will always get the call. We won’t.

That was a completely ludicrous holding call on the kickoff return.
Is there seriously another team in the country that has as many big plays called back due to penalties as PSU?

I think the refs got the notice from Peacock executives to try to make the game more competitive.

My post game press conference question for Franklin: "WTF didn't Warren touch the ball on 2 trips inside the 5 yd line last week?"

Did anyone have the balls to ask Franklin who made the play calls for those downs?

Every time we play OSU we are either unprepared, brain farting, or both. If we don't see OSU in the playoffs then we have to wait yet another year to find out if we can be a different team.

We should be treating that game like OSU sees Michigan every year and vice versa. We should NEVER be unprepared or not mentally into the game 100%. STUPID should never happen in that game.

The only thing I can think of is that there's so much pressure to win against the Bucks that the players and coaches are all strung too tight.

Defense looks good. They've been playing hard and aggressive the entire game. Oline looks good. Drew looks very good. RBs look good and Singleton looks as explosive as he has since early in the year. WRs look good. Not much out of special teams but should have had the kick return TD. Complete game so far.
