Football GAMEDAY THREAD -- Penn State vs. Ohio State

A person's name should not effect the decision on a flag so you also just made my point
Whether you think it should or not it always does. Has forever and will forever.
Was Harrison held? If the answer is yes you need to shut up because you're wrong
He was held--everyone knows it--move on.

It was obviously the right call on the hold…need to sustain a drive now and get the momentum.
Every route with an abrupt change of direction has a member of the secondary giving a momentary tug, or a grab. Technically a hold? Sure. Ever called? No. It typically needs to be egregious - a wrap, a seriously visibly pulled jersey … something. That they called it there is both silly, and incredibly unfortunate given it really had no impact on what was a game-changing TD for PSU.

You admit the osu line tackled our d lineman on the Harrison play… right? I mean he tackled him from behind
You're creating more to it than was there
That also has nothing to do with the blown coverage
You admit Fleming was held right?

I mean, it was an obvious hold…can hope they’d miss it, but unlikely out in space like that.
I bet you a dollar I could go back and look at all of OSU’s big plays over the years and find things that could have been called on most of them that weren’t.

My credibility has the backing of the rulebook bud
It doesn't. At all
You're claiming the refs are favoring one team. They're not. Fleming was held and they didn't call it. Lot of things are let go but when it happens in the middle of the field in space you're going to see a flag.

I’d be furious if they didn’t call that for us…we obviously grabbed him as he broke on his route. Wish they missed it, but it was the right call.

And that's against the rules to let the name effect the call full stop
And Harrison pushed off

You could do that with every single team and big play including PSU. But I get what your saying

You could do it in your sleep. Bounce pass, miracle play clock extension, miracle replay malfunction, and on and on.

If things can't get worse for Penn State, KeAndre Lambert-Smith is now shaken up. He appears to be okay but will be something to watch the rest of the day.

Allar just seems to be throwing 1/3 second early and the receivers can't get turned completely to the ball as they should.
