141: Cortez vs. No. 12 Weaver - P1
Cortez scores first to start it out, 2-0. Then nearly gets Weaver tilted but runs out of room along the boundary. Good initial ride from Cortez before he gets loose and gives up the reversal, or actually the escape. And then Weaver gathers for the takedown to take a 2-3 lead. Cortez escapes, 3-3, to knot it up after one

So, do you want to leave it to the whims of the NCAA, or keep it out of their hands?
That was a tough call on Cortez that allowed both an escape and TD on that. When escape was awarded Cortez was already at a position of disadvantage. Cost him a point. Cant really argue with the call though as Cortez can not continue to accrue RT at the point the escape was awarded.

My point was wrestling today and being injured at Scuffle is not a definitive loss of redshirt.

These guys are wrestling with an attitude today. Maybe the Lehigh match was a little closer than they liked but Keener, Zain, and Nolf came out angry.
Do the Richie Lewises and the Pat Downeys and the Vodkas of this world actually watch Nolf wrestle? I can't believe so.
