You gotta respect your opponent by taking no shots for well over a minute while down 4-1 in 3rd?
You know that a lot of wrestling is mental. I understand your POV and don't necessarily disagree with it, but let's let the coaches do their magic. I'd rather Davis come out of this with confidence than to try desperation shots and lose by a larger margin in a meaningless dual in early December. He lost 4-2 to #1. Something to build upon.

I think I’m on the opposite side with Kasak. His ceiling is national champion but I don’t think he’s looked all that great so far this year. He should be blowing this kid out. I think he will continue to get better but he hasn’t been super impressive yet

Thinking the guys look like they’ve been practicing hard and are wrestling this dual through it

He was wrestling smart but yeah not great. I think the kid he's wrestling is a going to AA a couple of times.

Kasak wasn't a world beater at this time last year either ... close decisions against both Munch and Singleton.

Some guys turn it on in February, and he might be one of them.

With all the blood I wonder how he's cutting/maintaining weight

Anyone know who
Victor Arujau or Mitchell Mesenbrook are?

Someone tell the service electric announcer to not quit his day job.

Agreed but he was a true freshman just pulled out of redshirt last season. We usually see a big jump in year 2 and we haven’t seen that yet. I’m not worried and do think he will continue to build and get better but I just guess I expected a bit more

This sounds so weird to say when we're up 28-3 against a hard fighting team and we were competitive in that L as a decided underdog but ....

The team looks flat lol

You can tell they all have a set schedule. They all handfight for about the same length of time before they shoot. Focus is being put i to the top position for sure. Kayak used up a pile of energy in those two scrambles, then blood running down his throat. He'll be fine!!!
