I believe somewhere in the books that is true. Although under another name He is also committed to the nights watch, becomes re-builder of The Wall.
idk
Danni becomes the ruler of the iron throne, unites the kingdoms and the circle continues.
I think Dany, Jon or Arya prevails with Dany Jon or a partial targ or stark (or a combo) sitting atop the iron throne. And Robert’s bastard finds a lofty place, possibly alongside Sansa. But as I type half asleep I sorta doubt that last one.

My friend and neighbor was in Las Vegas this week for a business convention. He stayed at the Mirage, but showed me a video he took of the fountains in front of the Bellagio. They were playing the full intro song to GOT while featuring a nighttime water show that had the fountains changing colors (with blue featured), and projecting the shadow of a dragon beating its wings in the blue fountain waters. At the end, they had a lot of fire spouting effects. Fire and Ice, even in Vegas..

It is in the television show as well. Jon’s mother tells Ned his name in Bran’s vision.

Which still makes no sense to me. The baby is born while Rhaegar's son Aegon is still alive as far as Rhaegar and Lyanna know. Why would Rhaegar name both of his sons Aegon? It would have made far more sense to name Jon Jaehaerys, given R+L=J and the historical importance of the name Jaehaerys.

I do not believe that is true. It is my understanding that the war is over and Ned believes he is rescuing his sister. Rhaegar is definitely dead because he is killed at the battle where Ned is coming from and I believe Kings Landing is likely already sacked as well and Rhaegar's children are dead.

I voted “other” and I believe it will be the offspring of Danaerys Targaryen and Jon Snow.

Rationale: now that we know Jon Snow is the official ‘next in line’ (although he doesn’t know it yet), that means his son would be next in line after him.

Danaerys and Jon had their night of passionate lovemaking, so although the mother of dragons is insistent those are her children, I believe this foreshadowed another offspring to come. Jon may learn he’s the rightful heir but he’s never really been interested in being king despite others thinking he should be. He’s a hero through and through. And heroes die glorious deaths. He was brought back to defeat the white walkers and he will be martyred doing so. Danaerys will have their child after the walkers are defeated, become queen mother and will rule in their sons stead until he comes of age.
