well, looks as though I'll be around for part of the dual. another party's travel plans keep being modified, which is what is causing me to get yo-yoed.

I'll post when I'm about to leave -- it will probably be around intermission.

Hey, Tom. I'm set up here in press row at Rec Hall. Mark McKnight with the flag-waving ceremony now and they're about ready for introductions. No guarantees on PBP from me as wifi is in-and-out, but I'll chime in here and there

I heard something about I-Mar bumping up a weight or two for some secret special match, but idk...

BTN2Go had the video up and running .... early ! ... and it just froze.

oh yeah, I noticed this today ... they are requesting that fans wear black on Sunday. I didn't think it looked so good when tOSU did it at the PSU - tOSU dual, but they didn't ask my opinion. So, you have been informed.

Wow. Richards totally gassing here. He does not look like a contender at all.

133: George Carpenter vs. Zane Richards

Will not be an easy match for Carpenter

Per 1
Richards with a quick TD, 0-2. Carpenter is out, 1-2. Richards in on single for the TD, 1-4. OOB. Carpenter to his feet, taken back to mat, back to his feet and out, 2-4. I just wish the one announcer would breath less hard..... Brutal.

Jodeh clamps down with a head-and-arm tieup and keeps Gulibon from advancing a shot in the first period but to open the second Gulibon scores and escape an then lands a double. Rides out for the second and takes 1:17 RT into the third where he opens up with a two-on-one tilt for two NF, 5-0

Zain still on the right side and working the right arm. OOB. Zain turns him and gets 2 NF, 4-0. Zain turns him again but only gets 1 swipe before Barone rolls thru. 30 sec left. I really do feel bad for Zain's opponents.

Baron little chippy, tried to out hustle Zain back to center. Zain wouldn't have any of it. Out hustle and out wrestled barons

Why does JB always say "freestyle start" instead of "optional start"...

157: Nolf vs. Kyle Langenderfer

Per 1
Foot sweep by Nolf for the TD, 2-0. Quick esc, 2-1. A throw by Nolf but they are OOB. Nolf in on a double, 4-1. Stoppage for blood time for Nolf. 1:56 remaining. Nolf cuts him, 4-2. Stoppage and a word on Lang. Then a caution on Lang for starting too soon. Nolf shoots, they scramble, then Nolf drives in on a double, 6-2. Quick esc, 6-3. Nolf with another foot sweep, 8-3, and then pushes Lang away as they go OOB with 30 sec left. Nolf in on the left leg and gets the TD, 10-3. Stoppage again for blood time for Nolf. He cuts him again, 10-4. Nolf in a leg and gets the TD with 4 sec left, 12-4. 6 TDs in the 1st period. 42 sec in RT for Nolf

Per 2
Nolf takes down. Nolf stands, Lang holding on, then stall warning on Lang, and then an esc by Nolf, 13-4. Lang with a duck under for the TD, 13-6. Nolf on his feet and out, 14-7. Penalty point for Nolf for repeated head slapping, 15-7. (Not sure how Lang got the 7th point.) Nolf in on left leg, and then the TD, 17-7. Nolf working the left side, but can't seem to turn him. End. 41 sec of RT for Nolf

Per 3
Stoppage again for blood time for Nolf. Lang takes bottom. He's out quickly, 17-8. Nolf in on a single, gets the other ankle for the TD, 19-8. Blood time again for Nolf. Left nostril doesn't seem to want to clot. Lang with the esc, 19-9. Nolf gets the left leg, drives thru, nothing, then picks the leg up, gets behind for the TD, 21-9. Blood stoppage again for Nolf. 1:10 left. Finally back to the action. Lang up and Nolf cuts him, 21-10. Blood stoppage again. That's an unusual number of blood stoppages. Now they're taping up his entire nose. Nolf in on the right leg, and gets the TD, 23-10. RT over 1 min. Cut, 23-11. Stall warning on Lang, makes it 24-11. Nolf gets the TD, and neither ref recognizes that it's a TF.

26-11 is the final

PSU - 19, Illini - 4

Nolf finishes off the 27-11 tech fall with a tape wrap around his face to stop a persistent bloody nose.

Penn State up 19-4 at intermission.

Former lettermen being introduced now

good chance Nolf broke his nose early on with the face slam into the mat in the first pd

with all the blood stoppage in Nolf's match, and my needing to pick someone up, it looks as though I'll miss the Joseph - IMar match. Ugh. Hope you guys can describe it in a way that I can read after the fact.
