Question...did Iowa's disgusting performance hurt us, even a little, in the title hunt because OkSt is sure to have improved their seeds in several spots?

Az compared Gilman's remarks to the quotes of some of America's finest generals. I took issue with said comments however in retrospect he was right, you can compare Gilman's motivational skills to a famous america general, General Custer.
Well sad to say Gilman and Brooks only 2 that showed up for Iowa..Opps so did Kemdawg good Pa. boy..Was long day sure hope sun comes up tomorrow tired of this sleet ,rain, ice and snow.

For as "off" as Iowa was today, they still can easily be ahead next Friday after three matches, 0-9.

There isn't any "debate": It's a simple fact that Penn State, with Mark Hall, is 15 to 20 points better than Penn State, without Mark Hall.
Iowa 141 is clearly bigger and stronger, BUT that does not mean he beats Jimmy. Every time somebody counts Jimmy out, he rises up. I think he finds a way to top Carton.
133 HELP, is correct. I see 6 Hawkeye points here, no way around it.

I see one weight with better than 50% odds for a national championship on OSU, and that's Heil, who hasn't looked better than a point above the 4-5 guys immediately below him. Everyone else in the lineup is suspect or has an immovable object in front of them, like NaTo at 133 for Brock. Without doing the math it seems like their path to a team championship would involve a slew of best case scenarios (Collica and Crutchmer in the finals, Rogers upsetting someone better than him with a pin, like he did with Daniel Lewis) and Penn State underperforming at weights we really need to AA, like 165, 197, HWT. What really helps OSU is having marginal AA guys like Piccininni at Weigel at weak classes.
I don't see Brock beating Clark if they meet again. I also was rooting for Sorenson as I can't stand watching Collica wrestle (same as Heil). Thought Boyd was pinned, but I guess it didn't matter anyway. Smith just doesn't look like the same wrestler he was last year. Is the cut too much? I know he was injured earlier, but just doesn't look as nearly good as he was last year. Thought it was a boring match overall. I think OSU has some guys that are ranked higher than they will finish and that will be there undoing at the end. Heil is always playing with fire and that is dangerous during the tourney.
I'm worried about Clark. That shoulder harness is one issue, the wrist another issue, and there is little question that he is going it like this for the rest of the way.
I thought Boyd was pinned as well.

Couple of questions answered for me. We will be fine this year winning point wise. Nevills will beat whomever Iowa puts out there and 21 guns is starting to get on my nerves

Iowa gets six if GC goes, but the chances of that are not great. Remember, The Man said Cortez was ready if needed last weekend.

Must drive Brands nuts the Sorensen wrestles but then the Okl dude didn't a dam thing either ref could have called both stalled out..
Clark will be ok that one bad move cost him and really don't know if that score board on the screen was right or was flos cause I watched it close and it was in lots of matches off on riding time.
Back to work all they can do..Pokes wanted it today and they deserve it..Maybe Hawks should let Penn State save air fare and just call it off next week..

Iowa still in the mix, as well as PSU and Tanmen...but Oklahoma State, with all ten wrestlers scoring points, is the clear #1 at the moment. Yes, they also have wrestlers who can score bonus for them, as well....Brock can bonus, Heil can bonus(early round), Rogers can bonus, and Crutchmer can bonus. No, it isn't in the same league as PSU or tanmen bonus points, but remember they don't NEED as much, since they'll get points out of all ten weights in St Louis.
