Despite or because of the weather, recruits had to be impressed last night.

Standing on the sidelines for several hours in crap conditions wouldn't get many people stoked. Nonetheless, recruits had to be impressed with the energy of the environmment which can be imitated but never duplicated. A crowd that shows in awful conditions is also a crowd that shows in great conditions. That can't be lost on any but the most wishy washy of recruits. It had to have been a recruiting victory too!

How to mix in downfield passing to the PSU offense?

Have no problem with the way Allar has been used so far, and he's been everything we hoped for so far. He's got the tools -- arm strength, poise, size, accuracy, and calmness under pressure -- to be a college all-star and a very high NFL draft choice.

Really hoping to see a more active downfield passing game -- would help the offense in so many ways -- chunk gains, more chances for the Running Backs to get some breakaway runs, ability to score quickly if the game dictates, etc, etc.
