2019 NCAAs -- Session 4 Thread

You can say that (you know it's okay to lock when both are on the feet, right?), but I'm pretty sure our coaches would know to throw the brick if they saw that...
Sigh. You were wrong on RBY TD and wrong here. Our coaches couldn’t have seen it so they couldn’t have known to challenge. It was facing away from them in 3rd period

Oh, okay, I guess you missed the whole new thread I posted today where I acknowledged I now think RBY had a takedown after I finally saw a replay with good angles

PLEASE, CHILD! ROFL

Man, there's so many people in here that don't know what they are talking about. Nick was trying to set shit up all match. McKenna's good, he blocked everything Nick wanted to do. Maybe Nick needs to spice it up a bit more, but from the way a lot of you are talking he stood still doing nothing and that was not the case at all.

Stop. He didnt commit to one shot in 7 minutes.
You really do need to rewatch the match. How many shots did McKenna take? Nick pressed the entire match. That's exactly what he does. Name a single match Nick goes backwards?

Maybe you guys haven’t ever wrestled a stud, but trust me, just cause it looks like he’s not shooting, doesn’t mean he’s not working. It’s called hand FIGHTING for a reason. Let’s call a spade a spade, McKenna wrestled the match he needed to win. Let’s move on and enjoy the last semi final for Nolf.

Micah Jordan defeats Austin O'Connor (UNC), 7-4

Anthony Ashnault defeats Matt Kolodzik (Princeton), 2-1

McKenna was In on 4 shots. 1 TD and 3 that nick countered.

Please let’s leave the “he was stalling” “ our guy was the aggressor” “the refs sucked” BS to HR. McKenna/Lee is a great matchup that will go back and forth every time. McKenna outwrestled him and got it this time. Next...

This one meathead announcer has been driving me nuts all weekend. He literally never thinks PSU deserves a call. Wonder if he is just trying to generate controversy.
