Yeah, I sitting here in pre-op. The orthoscopic meniscus surgery I had 30 years ago was great. Back to competitive sports in 2 weeks.

This one is a knee replacement rehab is usually 6-9 months. I am hoping 2-4 like I am still in my 20's.

Betancourt back in the portal. Was he ever officially on the team? Surprised he had to enter the portal.
That was a strange case. Thought he had a shot at 125 if Howard hurt.

Still no Canon to Rutgers announcement? I wonder if he ends up at Michigan instead. I hope not, but UM seems fully invested in the transfer market game

Have to wonder if Iowa stepped into the picture.

Probably not much short term. Voinovich scored 1.0 last year at 149. Jordan Williams presumably can repeat that. And they have both Carter Young and Sammy Alvarez at 141.

Longer term, likely hurts their recruiting of his brother.
Brother isnt really a huge get either. Definitely good but similar level recruit as his brother was. I wonder if he was losing to Jordan Williams in the room and figured he might as well leave now and get in another program where he can start. I’m sure he will have quite a few suitors. I wonder who’s going to win that 141 battle? Young and Alvarez are both quite good

Yep, if Michigan gets Griffith and whoever is left in portal could they be a threat?

Wrestling is pretty competitive….. outside of the Penn State armada.

I think Griffith will be headed to Michigan. The Cliff Keen $ is real with these transfers, starting back with Nick Suriano first when he chose them as the highest bidder.

As an Ohio State fan, I want to be clear, I’m not complaining about it either…. Like whatsoever.

Just like people complain about Penn State’s ‘slush fund’ at your RTC similarly….Now does it have a gigantic endowment, exceedingly larger than everyone else? Yes. But so what, go find your own…. That is my stance on it.

Rudis is right in our backyard and it’s criminal Ohio State hasn’t adopted something similar NIL wise as Michigan has in its partnership with Cliff Keen…. Maybe it’s in the works… that I do not know.

Especially with the likes of young and upcoming studs like Bo Bassett whose sponsored by Rudis and visits right in close proximity multiples times a year already.

Rudis’s partnership with Ohio State and the NIL game due to their proximity just screams of a match made in heaven.

Michigan in Griffith’s top 3, according to GIA. That’s becoming a pretty good team.

I’m not against the transfer portal either… but man that has to suck for teams who excel at recruiting well out of high school. This almost negates its importance. The need to recruit kids out of high school is no longer as important as convincing them once they develop elsewhere to come bring those results to your school after the fact. If you do both well, like you guys apparently have figured out, then that’s just a 🎤 drop.

This seems like a no-brainer, from both a wrestling and career standpoint.

Surprised they haven't locked down Woodley at 197, as was rumored months ago.

It's a very good duals team, but not necessarily a top 5 tournament team.
