Hosokawa reaches for a double off the whistle, but there's a stoppage, something wasn't ready.
Here we go again, Hosokawa faking, Bo tying up & reaches for a leg, Hosokawa counters & comes around behind & gets the TD & adds a turn, 4-0. Hosokawa has a tight gut, and gets another turn & another, 8-0 & a final turn for the quick 10-0 tech. That's unfortunate. Another really good Japanese wrestler.

ouch. Bo gets teched. Got way too cute with his gut defense. and then it just snowballed.
That was a TIGHT gut by Japan. He was able to connect the lock at his elbow.
That was my thought too--sometimes that mindset will bite back. It's still his best weapon overall.
Not sure why that 1st score from Duke wasn't a score? Baittukaev starting to gas....

He really was too frenetic too early and gave up the extra 2 when he had him on the ropes. If he was a bit more methodical about his offense in the second minute of the 3rd, he'd have won this one.
Japan with finalists at 65 and 70. Neither made Zzs preview! Something special is going on there across the age groups and styles
I’m just following on Arena. Why did PJ lose on criteria if he got last point and they both had 2 pointers as highest score
That Bodylock position is one duke normally dominates in and he got the step out right before by not overcommitting and it was obvious that Baitukaev was looking for the exact metzger counter he ended up getting his 2 off of
i believe duke had 3 1s and a 2 while the russian had 2 2s and 1 1
