Well, I had some level of concern…but I was labeled a “scUM poser troll” for expressing it.
Franklin has no answer against good teams. He is overmatched.

You are so annoying. This game is conclusive evidence that even this year, he is not at Clifford’s level. I believe he will eventually be better than Clifford, but he is not there yet.
Allar has great skills for a QB but not ready for big games against a top defense. Like the 3rd down where he got sacked because there was an unaccounted for pass rusher to his left. Basic recognition to get out of the ball fake and have Allen pick up that player. Can't beat good teams making those kind of mental errors.
Season comes down to Michigan otherwise we're playing UNC without Maye or Air Force in a fun scrimmage.

Also, this is why all the "we're not showing our whole offense" was BS because you can't just magically change your offense when you want to. Maybe Franklin and Penn State will reconsider future schedules.
The thing that makes me most angry is how we totally abandoned our completely dominant 3rd and 1 and 4th and 1 calls. That’s two more first downs in this game and potentially 8 or more plays on offense. You have to give your offense as many chances as possible even if it’s not getting chunk plays.
I’m also angry at the refs making sure to keep OSU at arm’s length every time we threatened… but that’s every year.

The question is--do people now wish Allar played more meaningful snaps last year?
Allar in year 2 may not be better than Clifford in year 6 but Allar in year 3 will be. Assuming we get a new OC

Yep. Many posted here that the O had real issues and were shouted down.
Having Michigan at home and the learning experience Allar just got is monumental. The season is not over.
