What we are seeing now is Franklin’s seriousness about winning a title. During Franklins contract negotiations, he guaranteed to the administration that he would make a serious run at a national title and if that was not accomplished by the end of the 2025 season, then he would resign. This was told to me by a parent of a Penn State Football player.

If this is true, then I hope they lose the rest of the way this year then have 8-4 or worse again next.

Has he shown you anything so far this season that shows he can put the team on his shoulders and win the game? It sounds like a knock on him but he's just not an accurate enough passer at this point in his career to be labeled a game winner.

Yes he’s had good moments and bad moments so far this year. It’s too early to give up on him, especially since the whole offense (including him) sucked ass today. But the difference today was Marvin Harrison.

This is PSU off a bye week basically. We see this all the time coming off a bye week.

Oh it’s worse than that. This putrid performance was with 3 weeks to prepare. 3 weeks……..

After the NW game, there was a bye week, UMass, and then Ohio St. 3 weeks to prepare for OSU and this was the offensive game performance.

Great learning experience as much as it hurt to watch. Michigan at home will help. Gotta hope we beat them then Michigan beats OSU.
