I'm grateful the Ferrari's are associated with the Hawkeyes. I'm sure it will be years of upcoming fun at their expense.
His little stunt would have been a lot funnier if most PSU fans wouldn't be borderline horrified by the Ferraris coming to State College.

The Christmas in May gift they have given to the national Jerry Springer wrestling audience will be memorable. Just wait until they fill their 3 car garage, which seems more likely now up from 5% to 25%.
I will give them a full year more likely two to pollute the culture and run the risk bringing down the Brands along with them. Unfortunately, there will be collateral damage, mark my words. No doubt super talented wrestlers and capable of delivering individual national champions, but far short from threatening PSU for the big prize.
Let's be real and optimistic. Assume the very best - AJ beats the charges and the Hawks get him too. All three then keep their noses clean for their entire eligibility. The Hawks still have to deal with a gaggle of complete narcissistic assholes. These kids can't help themselves. In the argument of heredity vs environment, those kids have been formed by both in spades, and not in a good way. Have you seen those big foam fingers in the stands at football games? Good ole Carmine will be up in the stands screaming like a banshee with the finger cut off and protruding out of his zipper.
If the Brands think they can control this nuclear waste spill, they had better start taking iodine pills immediately.
Digesting the buyer's remorse that will ultimately play out on GIA will be glorious but goulish, like devouring some fresh liver, fava beans, and a nice Chianti

The real funny part is when he said he went there for the amazing practice partners in the room: Gabe Arnold, Nelson Brands and Abe Assad. Not the top of the top “A” list, that most wrestlers would think of, for the the best practice partners available.
Brands, Kennedy and Assad rewarded for their hard work over the years - head to weights where their chances get cut in half. You know, the Iowa way.
Hey to give credit where credit is due, Angelo has the cleanest record of the three, and seems to be fairly well grounded. He admitted that AJ is a possibility, uh oh. For Iowa a great solo pickup, but 2 is trouble and 3 a total disaster IMO. I think most Iowa fans feel the same way, but they can't admit it.

AJ - if he clears his legal troubles I believe he has 3 yrs eligibility remaining. Defending NC
Anthony - incoming freshman, AA ceiling? Iowa commit
Angelo - HS senior this fall, NC ceiling. Iowa commit

Healthy Howard wins 125, non healthy Howard McHenry wins. Until Beau changes the outcome Woods is the favorite at 141, but does anybody outside of Iowa City really anticipate Woods progressing into something better than he was last year. A PSU shutout of the Hawks is not farfetched.
Iowa is the center of Iowa City college wrestling, and even that border is shrinking.

OMG. Back in January Wrestling for Life posted a message on HR, titled "Gambling is a Sin." It was to push the annual wagers that are placed between Iowa and PSU fans to benefit WFL.
This morning that thread got resurrected, bold headline an all, by a new user over there, discussing how great it is that gambling proceeds could benefit the sport.

I think the bigger question is how will Iowa settle the lawsuits that will eventually come at them for bringing known deviants into the program? It isn't a matter of whether the sh_t storm will blow the program down, but exactly how long it takes.
