It’s amazing every time people need to whine about the announcers. Just mute the announcers or sync with Byers. Stop clutching your pearls about announcers.
Agreed - the only thing more annoying than the announcers is reading the 100 whiny comments.

For some actual wrestling discussion - Garcia was doing a great job keeping this close.

I will be the whiny one about student announcers. I don’t expect them to be experts. It’s an uncommon sport and they’re learning. But so many of the mistakes are a
matter of just not putting time and effort into prep. I’ve had friends who worked for CommRadio. I’ve seen all the prep work they do. There’s no excuse for things like not pronouncing names correctly.

I knew Ed Aliverti personally. He would spend hours preparing for announcing any international contest to make sure he got the names right.

Societal rot.

I mean, just look over at GIA -- they can't even spell "Cael." How can we expect students to pronounce names correctly?

I wonder if the coaches had some words for Beau after Friday’s double stall first period. By far the most active Beau has been this season.

Aren’t they volunteers? If that’s true, I’d say be the change you wish to see in the world. Thankful for everyone willing to be involved in our underrepresented sport.
I’m gonna disagree on this one. Don’t volunteer to do something you’re going to put no effort in doing. I don’t care what it is.

Clutching your pearls? Lmfao what is that a 1920s saying or what. Does anyone even have pearls today? Lol
Hey now. Let’s not put the cart before the horse. You’ve gone to the well one too many times. I don’t want to see you burning the midnight oil trying to figure it out. You wear your pearls when you're dressed to the nines.
