By looking at thr schedule for this weekend how can u tell the BTN is run for profit by someone other than Big-10 officials?

OSU is competing against UM, and PSU v Iowa is the featured match.

Sheesh that’s a pretty good weekend of wrestling.

For those pre-gaming . . . Ohio St vs. Michigan up now on the BTN.

Heinselman over Medley by decision.
Mendez over Ragusin w/ SV TD.
D’Emilio over Mattin* w/ last-second TD.
Sasso TF Mayora on RT point.
Lewan over Gallagher in SV.

Ohio St 14, Michigan 3 at intermission.

Kharchla and Amine in TBs. Amine might have been injured in SV. Amine sticks him w/ a suck-back in TB1!
Smith over Maylor 11-6.
Romero over Finesilver 7-4.
Hoffman over Rogers 5-3.
“Swenski” going 285 for Ohio St, who has the dual wrapped up (currently 23-9). Parris smashes him.

Final Score:
Ohio St 23, Michigan 15

Man, if 165 had gone the other way in OT, this could have been 26-9.

*Looked like Mattin busted his shoulder when D’Emilio took him down to the mat.

How about the commentators before the 133 match..... "Ragusin lost to RBY last Friday 4-2...... he was leading the match early before a good hard ride in the 3rd Period by RBY put out the Ragusin's fire.". Huh?, wha???.... not exactly how I would describe Ragusin's wrestling those first two periods.

Amine-Kharchla setting the sport back 20 years. Christ almighty is this boring.

My wife gives me more action and that ain’t saying much.
Then Amine pins him in the first 30 second ride out after Karchla tries to roll.

No!!! Gomez is one of my favs
The write up from Wisconsin states it was a lower leg injury.

“Wisconsin dropped their next three bouts however, including a costly injury default due to a lower-body injury in the highly-anticipated 149-pound bout between No. 2 Austin Gomez and No. 4 Yahya Thomas. Wisconsin now trailed Northwestern 12-3 entering the 157-pound bout.”

Hope it’s not season ending. Would have to be to late for a medical shirt.

Just watched the replay on BTN+. He was on bottom, got up to his feet and then spun away for the escape and twisted his knee. He was down for awhile and in a lot of pain. Finally walked back to center but collapsed again before the restart. Limped off the mat in tears. Didn’t look good. Hopefully nothing is torn.

Yea just watched it. Looked bad.

Looked like torn meniscus. Combination of twisting with a push to extend the knee. There appeared to be little lateral force.
Acl tear possible, but i think less likely.
Just an opinion based on the video, no inside info.

Almost forgot there was other wrestling today . . . Okie St & ISU @ 3pm seems enticing.

Wisky-Nebby interesting at 125 lbs, as is MSU-OhioSt at 157 & 197.

I think I can speak for all Philly sports fans on here and say thank goodness the PSU-Iowa match was held Friday and not today.

If I had to choose between Iowa match and Eagles game today, my head may have exploded. 🤯
