So were the fans you could hear in the background, yelling at the ref.
Every time I try and get JB and BTN synced up I spend more time tying to keep them in time through commercials and any internet buffering than I do actually enjoying watching the match. So I gave up and just listen to the average commentators on BTN
At first I was the same way but after practice, I can now synce JB up with my DVR rather quickly.
Mr. Martin was seated near us. He was doing alot of talking in the first period. After that, not so much.
They should’ve just pulled Ben Askren out of the bleachers to be a guest broadcaster for the match.
No. Moore is not much of a rider. He scores almost all his points from neutral, which is his strength.

I frankly think he was selling the Canadian and Chilean Russians short, but still it was a good post.
You mean yelling "focus!", "seven minutes!", and pointing to your temple a lot during a match isn't enough?

Note that the Buckeyes lose Snyder, Bo Jordan, and Nato, while Penn State loses Zain and the two one-year guys at 125 and 133. Watching the end of Zain's PSU career is unfortunate but, barring injuries, I would think the Lions are going to be even stronger next season relative to the Buckeyes.
I would take the way Casey schedules with 1 BJC match a year (sold out) and sold out REC hall for all others over an ever increasingly empty Carver. Even if it means overall we are #2 in total home attendance (you guys deserve to be #1 in something right). For what 5 years straight PSU has gone on the road and set attendance records at another schools venue. FACT! (haha)
Even you have to admit your attendance #s this year are going to be down big time. only so many midwestern "storms" can explain away the fact that your fan base is not engaged this year.
Did your Slushfund buy the BJ center yet or do you still rent it out? Easy to have good attendance when you stand at the top? No? Shall we view the comparison attendance over the last 50 years?
If comparing the last 50 years will put a hop in your step please do, wont bother me in the least. Seems like the history books are all you guys got these days.

Congrats on the win..I had you winning but was like some of you worried when Lee lost at 141..Never seen Snyder wrestle so stupid but its like we say "Duals are not the important thing" right..
I honestly do not have too many syncing issues. I have to make some initial adjustments of course but Pretty much stays synced for me

Just a note.... Stats like that typically come from a stats guy in the truck, feeding the announcers. The announcers generally don't have time to stop and do math, research, etc while on the air. I used to help with football broadcasts and there was a stats guy in the truck who fed the info into a small monitor. Then a stats guy in the booth next to the announcer would feed him info on post it notes as they were relevant. Not sure how it is done today, but that's how it was done 10-15 yrs ago. My guess is they feed them info direct to their headset. So more than likely, the snafu on the criteria status was an error from someone in the truck.
Eliminating those type of folks from the scene is like herding cats. They are always out there doing their thing.

By it's nature, success breeds envy. We all witnessed that with Iowa during the Gable era, and we're witnessing it now with Cael's reign at Psu. But let us not forget 5 short years ago they were petitioning to remove wrestling from the summer olympics, and now the sport is growing, surging and thriving like it never has before. I'm not saying Cael deserves all the credit for this, as it has most certainly been a community effort, however there is no denying that Cael has served as a great ambassador to the sport and for this we all win and all should be grateful.
Ryan starts babbling about that the dual should have an impact on the B1G and NCAA tournament and it currently does not. Tom does not understand that at the B1G tournament at a minimum, BoJo, Martin, and Moore all just lost the possibility of a #1 seed while their PSU counterpart will have that seed. Harder road to the championship.
If the dual did count towards the tournament championships, the favorite would then have a bigger lead making it easier to win the tournament.
Interestingly, guys who have won national championships and Olympic Gold wrestled poorly under pressure. Just imagine if they wrestled in the BJC in front of another 10K, those guys might have had a hard time even making it to the mat.
Cassar pulled a Iowa from their glory years. Back up (at least we think) steps into the lineup and stuns the #1 guy.
They should auction off that sign that got broken when Kuhn tossed nato
No way man. What Sandusky did has no bearing on what Cael and crew have accomplished. I don't go down that road.
