Would you say Lugo wrestles that style? Murin? Young?

Lugo? Lugo pushes and pushes, but I don't believe I see him looking around for the stall call. I don't even recall him edge wrestling and continously pushing opponents OOB so the Twins can scream the Iowa mantra. Too much time at Edinboro I suppose.
DeSanto, despite his obvious talent and motor has been known when in a tight match against someone of equal or superior talent to push, push and look for a stall.
Of course Marinelli in his QF loss to Lewis spent time looking for a stall call.
Sammy spent a career pushing and looking.
Before the year is finished when the going gets tough the Iowa style will manifest itself in most Hawks.

Would you consider Gross of equal or superior talent? I saw 3 takedowns for DeSanto and none for Gross. Marinelli was in on a single leg at least 2 or 3 times but couldn’t finish. Lewis took him down with less than 10 seconds to go so I would say Lewis did more pushing than Alex.

And you are also wrong about Herrmann’s skill set translating well even if he went to Clarion. I wish the young man well, but if he is going to succeed at the college level he will have to get off his knees and that is a fact.

In the last ride out period Bartlett was on top. He thought Frankie false started and the ref gave the escape. Then there was about 3-4 seconds where they just stood around looking at each other. Frankie was on the edge of the mat and when Bartlett realized they were wrestling tried a shot and Frankie backed out. No stall call. Then ran away until a warning was given. Beau almost had the 2 as time expired. They should have restarted the last ride out.

Not everyone can be a super stud that was recruited by a bunch of Div 1 schools, in multiple sports,but things didn't work out and everyone else is a face-painting fan who never participated in sports. I guess they could say they were, it's the internet and some guys do that.

Dice is a tournament organizer for one of the most prestigious HS events in the country; has written for national publications; and has worked with several current D1 wrestlers at various schools and D1 prospects.

He doesn't need to answer to someone whose chief attribute is belligerent self-beclownment.
