someone above asked about Gary Steen from Reynolds. Last year he was seeded first at AA states but got knocked off in the first round by Vulakh's little brother. Older brother Ryan Vulakh was OW at AA states. Little brother Matt had the upset of the tournament, beating Steen, then ending up 8th. Steen won 5 in a row and placed 3rd. Maybe it was a fluke?

You are correct I wanted to see our guy vs yours It would have been a better match to watch. And Henson will be toying with that kid by his RS year in a college match. That said if the guy actually wrestled Bartlett would most likely of scored more points also.

Herrmann is a very tough kid who will translate very well right away. Despite your disdain for him after he took out Henson. I was going to let folks know they should look out for Steen to make a move to the "Big Board" this year. That loss to Vulakh was a little fluky in that Steen gave up a go behind TD after an over-aggressive shot. But Vulakh was gutsy and just gave up no points besides 2 escapes. So credit to him.
I guess my "heads up" is a little late after yesterday. The cat's out of the bag. It's fun to watch kids work guys on top. He's great at keeping pressure on. He is definitely one to keep an eye on.

I think the guy on top in this scene was another college wrestler (an NCAA finalist, no less) who wrestled from a knee pretty frequently.

Interesting thread guys. Is this banter, or are we in cesspool territory? Most of the last several pages seem petty to me.
I don't know which is worse: his hangover this morning, or if he somehow doesn't have one.
I looked up what prize you get for winning a message board argument and came up empty. I guess starting fights with people you don't know is its own reward.
I'm sure it have been said before but it would be cool to have a 'dislike' button. Would be good to see the totals...
